I see the parallels, but the Shield showed you that the Commish was a cold blooded cop killer in the first episode. There was no journey.
But he did it for his family!
Anyway, Walt was cooking meth in ep one, which ends with him killing those dudes. You have to set the moral bar pretty low for that to get a pass. Walt's tragic journey is that it all gets so much worse despite numerous chances to turn back (fatal flaw!). Vic's story is equally, classically tragic: nothing he does can undo the events of that first episode.

xpost Ha. I just meant it's ugly as fuck right now and so stupidly compulsively contrarian ("You're Doing It Wrong!") that I don't want to encourage them.

seriously. coors has to market their beer for it's coldness because it is a shitty excuse for an alcoholic beverage. i don't know who these guys are - but they're right!

He says it's his birthday and she says breakfast is free on your birthday. So he has to show the id as proof.

also he was getting iced tea and they need to see you're 21 or older or the cops will shut your denny's down

yeah idgi
― what's up ugly girls? (Shakey Mo Collier), Friday, 27 September 2013 17:58 (twelve years ago)
I had a fake ID with my actual birthday on it. Made it easier to remember in case a bouncer questioned me about it. Of course, that was a bogus NJ driver's license that I used to get into bars in a college town and not a bulletproof new identity that I paid for to escape federal drug prosecution for my activities as a notorious meth cook and distributor.
― carl agatha, Friday, 27 September 2013 18:04 (twelve years ago)
he didn't get the fake id to buy booze or anything, why wouldn't the fake id have his real birth date?
xp

it won't happen but it would be a BB-style move to have Walt get killed by some unrelated accident in the first 10 minutes and have the rest be fallout.

I hope they make an overt attempt at turning memorable phrases from the show's past into obnoxious catchphrases.
Skyler working out feverishly at the gym, Marie says, "Hey, Sky...tread lightly."
Badger and Skinny Pete working as door-to-door salesmen. Pete approaches the door, and Badger stops him short: "I thought we agreed: I'm the one that knocks."
Flynn in home ec, his partner warns him that he's mixing up too much cookie dough, Flynn turns and says with a grin, "No more half measures."
Ad nauseum.
