Mark G, Wednesday, 25 September 2013 10:23 (twelve years ago)

on what level?

i stopped reading way before the end because it just seemed to be taking an interminable length of time to make some really trite observation

Tyskie in the giro (Noodle Vague), Wednesday, 25 September 2013 10:28 (twelve years ago)

In which case, skip to the last pages, read on from "That's enough, young man"

Mark G, Wednesday, 25 September 2013 10:30 (twelve years ago)

i take it back, it was taking an interminable length of time to say nothing

Tyskie in the giro (Noodle Vague), Wednesday, 25 September 2013 10:32 (twelve years ago)

there you go.

I really liked the art on that interminable comic, but yeah, I'm pretty sure it could have used way less words to explore that theme in a far less trite and annoying manner.

emil.y, Wednesday, 25 September 2013 14:15 (twelve years ago)

That cartoon was confusing babble. The author was playing with paradox, but very ineptly. Oscar Wilde, now there was a man who could spin a paradox and most all of them could fit into four panels or less.

Aimless, Wednesday, 25 September 2013 22:55 (twelve years ago)

Would you say this was more or less rewarding than the long comic about the Russian orphan that ended in everybody's death?

carl agatha, Wednesday, 25 September 2013 23:13 (twelve years ago)

jfc i wanna kill it

^^ post obviously honoring and supporting Qualcomm (zachlyon), Wednesday, 25 September 2013 23:19 (twelve years ago)

i was just thinking, despite the artwork it's just as reddity as the russian orphan death comic

^^ post obviously honoring and supporting Qualcomm (zachlyon), Wednesday, 25 September 2013 23:19 (twelve years ago)

I can't even read enough of it to figure out where it's going.

how's life, Thursday, 26 September 2013 00:14 (twelve years ago)

it seemed like a very thinly veiled science vs. religion debate.

PRISON WARDEN CONSCIOUSNESS (4th Dimension) (Viceroy), Thursday, 26 September 2013 00:40 (twelve years ago)

Yeah it sounded like some kind of fluff that's supposed to make you think about the axioms you accept regarding our existence... Kind of exhausting though.

Evan, Thursday, 26 September 2013 01:06 (twelve years ago)

Paradox was one of my class's vocab words today.

Untt (La Lechera), Thursday, 26 September 2013 19:14 (twelve years ago)

the art on that was really cool but I don't know if it really needed to be 56,000 panels long

frogbs, Thursday, 26 September 2013 19:59 (twelve years ago)

Oh, so is it the pedophiles that are supposed to do the animal testing? I guess seeing as how they are in prison, they got some other people to deputise for them.

cardamon, Wednesday, 2 October 2013 03:20 (twelve years ago)

haha but thats not a picture of the woods

lag∞n, Wednesday, 2 October 2013 03:21 (twelve years ago)

It came with this in its sidebar:

“Every walk to the woods is a religious rite, every bath in the stream is a saving ordinance. Communion service is at all hours, and the bread and wine are from the heart and marrow of Mother Earth. There are no heretics in Nature’s church; all are believers, all are communicants. The beauty of natural religion is that you have it all the time; you do not have to seek it afar off in myths and legends, in catacombs, in garbled texts, in miracles of dead saints or wine-bibbing friars. It is of today; it is now and here; it is everywhere.” ~John Burroughs, Accepting the Universe
