Shall we anticipate the FIFTH SEASON of the AMC series "Breaking Bad"? I think I may.

Charlie Rose was basically giving Walt credit for the Todd/Jesse blue meth, so he has left a legacy in a sense

President Keyes, Monday, 23 September 2013 18:00 (twelve years ago)

Todd getting ribbed about being sweet on Lydia followed by the scene where he's obviously trying to say how well they work together was so ridiculous

beautifully, unapologetically plastic (mh), Monday, 23 September 2013 18:09 (twelve years ago)

idk guys, do you think Todd has a chance, here, it seems like the BB version of "so not gonna happen"

beautifully, unapologetically plastic (mh), Monday, 23 September 2013 18:10 (twelve years ago)

lydias reaction to the meth being blue again was p good, she cant get enough

lag∞n, Monday, 23 September 2013 18:13 (twelve years ago)

feel like a lot of the less, let's say "agile," plot mechanisms in this latter half of the season are the result of the writers working backwards. Todd's infatuation with Lydia, for instance, seems like it's a way to engineer a reason for someone to still be cooking the meth. not that it's not believable (as much as anything else in the show), it's just the puzzle pieces falling into place this time around feel a little bit too much like puzzle pieces. perhaps that's the peril of endings.

ryan, Monday, 23 September 2013 18:17 (twelve years ago)

I feel like Todd is my dead-eyed stand-in now, it's only natural he has these feelings

maybe Todd as the interested viewer trying to be in the story is an angle

I forgot that Lydia has a kid! She is also working to build her family, I guess

Todd is great with kids

Hilarious story on the latest Harmontown podcast about Kumail Nanjiani running into Vince Gilligan at the Louvre (about 40 minutes in).

CBS with the dumbest line in any of the wrapups

Following a botched escape, Jesse (Aaron Paul) gets taken to Andrea's house and looks on in horror as Todd unflinchingly shoots her in the back of the head on her front porch. First Jane, and now this? Mr. Pinkman just can't catch a break when it comes to the ladies.

i thought that Jesse may get a happy ending of sorts, but now with TWO "women in refrigerators" he's gotta be a broken man pretty much.

Little known except to a small cadre of industry insiders, the Schwartzes have been scrambling in recent weeks to keep a long-running secret from being revealed.

. . .

Mr. Schwartz, who won a Nobel prize for his scientific research, has parlayed that success into the celebrity spotlight, hobnobbing with A-listers. He was recently given as a gift a Stratocaster guitar autographed by Eric Clapton.

cool story sork

todd's plaintive "we work good together" was the so not gonna happen moment, no way he's coming back from that

I did lol @ his repeated mangled grammar/misuse of "good"

what's up ugly girls? (Shakey Mo Collier), Monday, 23 September 2013 20:24 (twelve years ago)

the funny thing is todd is right tho he and lydia are perfect for each other, how many conservatively comported criminal psychopaths are there out there really

walt's gonna blow up the nazis and the money and himself and then yell "look on my works ye mighty and despair!!!!" and then there will be some awesome outro music possibly old metallica as he dies

If the final end credit song doesn't rule I am going to consider the whole series a failure.

Flynn: “Why are you still alive? Why won’t you just die already? Just die!”

Announcer: “He’s been stellar tonight. Solid saves back in the first period.”

Color commentator: “You know, Mike, that’s probably a disappointing fact for Wisconsin. You look at Wagner’s numbers, and it seems like he’s one of the last goalies in the league. You wanna put pressure on this guy.

HOOS it because...of steen???? (BIG HOOS aka the steendriver), Monday, 23 September 2013 20:30 (twelve years ago)

The actress who plays Lydia went to Hillhead High School, for the vague interest of any Glaswegian ILXors. Also Lydia better not die and is not well suited for Todd. :(

What I cannot bear is "normality." (dowd), Monday, 23 September 2013 20:31 (twelve years ago)

my mind is blown that actress who played andrea is like 20, i would have pegged her for 30s on the show

FYI AMC, I would watch a lydia spinoff show

a hard dom is good to find (Edward III), Monday, 23 September 2013 20:33 (twelve years ago)

I have the feeling Todd is going to wig out on his own crew for teasing him about Lydia. Not enough of a feeling to put money on it.

you don't talk about lydia's woodchipper coochie like that

I have the feeling Todd is going to wig out on his own crew for teasing him about Lydia. Not enough of a feeling to put money on it.

Yyyyyup, exactly what I was thinking. And Lydia will probably face the same fate for spurning his advances. And Walt and Jesse will probably be spared from his polite butchery.

Todd's another one whose past I wish we had a bit more access to. Like, you know that kid wasn't the first person he offhandedly murdered. Dude's probably a straight-up serial killer.

Coke Opus (Old Lunch), Monday, 23 September 2013 20:44 (twelve years ago)

todd killing spree would certainly be an unusual choice for the final ep

lag∞n, Monday, 23 September 2013 20:45 (twelve years ago)

I don't think they'd spend all that time on Todd doing villain stuff in the finale. This was the episode where you learned how much you want Todd to die and next episode Jesse will kill him.

Jesse not so good at killing people tho
