it seems that the only things really hanging now are that Lydia wants Skyler dead and Jesse's got Brock's life in his hands.

opie dead eyed piece of shit (Merdeyeux), Monday, 23 September 2013 02:52 (twelve years ago)

Walt can do what he wants with his bigass gun, doesn't matter really.

opie dead eyed piece of shit (Merdeyeux), Monday, 23 September 2013 02:52 (twelve years ago)

Jesse's going to be holding Skyler's dead body out in the rain in front of Lydia's house, screaming "I DID THIS FOR YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!"

Neanderthal, Monday, 23 September 2013 02:53 (twelve years ago)

I didn't really buy Walt's motivation to kill the Nazis (I guess Saul didn't either)

Matt Armstrong, Monday, 23 September 2013 02:54 (twelve years ago)

Walt just likes killing.

opie dead eyed piece of shit (Merdeyeux), Monday, 23 September 2013 02:57 (twelve years ago)

oh if only he'd discovered GTA before embarking on his whole crimelord thing.

opie dead eyed piece of shit (Merdeyeux), Monday, 23 September 2013 02:58 (twelve years ago)

just realized that Andrea's death is the mirror image of Gale's

Matt Armstrong, Monday, 23 September 2013 03:01 (twelve years ago)

lag∞n, Monday, 23 September 2013 03:51 (twelve years ago)

lag∞n, Monday, 23 September 2013 04:03 (twelve years ago)

I think he's gotta find some way to get the money to them

Matt Armstrong, Monday, 23 September 2013 04:05 (twelve years ago)

he starts and even bigger and better charity than the Grey Matter guys.

Porto for Pyros (The Cursed Return of the Dastardly Thermo Thinwall), Monday, 23 September 2013 04:16 (twelve years ago)

nice mix of hilarity and utter horror in this one. todd leaning into lydia doing his best pua "we make a good team... me and you". intense opening scene with the jesse dvd revealing to the nazis that todd killed the kid - didn't have a clue how jack would react but then it became obvious: he only cares about his 'boys' (whoever said upthread about jack displaying good leadership by letting jesse live to keep todd happy, great point).

NI, Monday, 23 September 2013 04:19 (twelve years ago)

after andrea got dropped we all went ahhhh and then had to pause the commercials to recover

couple of things left hanging for me, what's going to happen to brock after finding his mum dead on the doorstep? i can't see how killing her was meant to encourage jesse to keep working and give up on escaping. was it to show that if he tries again then brock is next? not like brock's future is rosy at the moment, seems counter-productive

also is saul on the run because it became public knowledge that he was walt's lawyer? would have thought he could have covered his tracks better. also need huell closure beyond this: http://youtu.be/oP_4z4IoYHs

I didn't really buy Walt's motivation to kill the Nazis (I guess Saul didn't either)

"They stole my money" is the ultimate Walt motivation.

Well, in one scenario Brock's alive and in the other he's not...

Kiarostami bag (milo z), Monday, 23 September 2013 04:25 (twelve years ago)

yeah, but keeping them both alive on the nazi compound would be less likely to send jesse going haywire. also unless they took brock with them he's gonna be whisked away to safety by family/police and then the nazis have nothing to keep jesse cooking

NI, Monday, 23 September 2013 04:28 (twelve years ago)

they actually told him they'd kill brock next when jesse was freaking out in the car

a hard dom is good to find (Edward III), Monday, 23 September 2013 04:29 (twelve years ago)

what's jesse going say, go ahead, kill brock, I dare you to try to find him!

a hard dom is good to find (Edward III), Monday, 23 September 2013 04:31 (twelve years ago)

*going to say*

a hard dom is good to find (Edward III), Monday, 23 September 2013 04:32 (twelve years ago)

hm yeah, just sayin it was a bit, uh, rash for the ex-con nazi meth gang. feasible though i guess.

what was it that jesse called todd, a 'dead-eyed opie fuck'?

NI, Monday, 23 September 2013 04:38 (twelve years ago)

look to merdeyeux's DN for the answer

a hard dom is good to find (Edward III), Monday, 23 September 2013 04:41 (twelve years ago)

ugh, the andrea thing bummed me out more than anything that's happened on BB yet. jesse HAS to kill walt now. it's the only ending that will satisfy me.

wk, Monday, 23 September 2013 05:26 (twelve years ago)

Robert Forster & Cranston in a cabin playing cards = tv heaven

god this last episode is gonna destroy me, isn't it

poor jesse, poor flynn. i felt for walt but now he's gonna go all REMEMBER MY NAME on the nazis & be a dick til the absolute last moment when you remember you still kinda like him

this fuckin show

set the controls for the heart of the sun (VegemiteGrrl), Monday, 23 September 2013 05:49 (twelve years ago)

I guess I figured vacuum cleaner repair was a term of art

a hard dom is good to find (Edward III), Monday, 23 September 2013 06:03 (twelve years ago)

i'm glad they stuck the Robert Forster introduction at the beginning so I could feel like "nice, Robert Forster!" for a bit before settling in for an hour of misery

Nhex, Monday, 23 September 2013 06:07 (twelve years ago)

It's interesting to me how this show that features crime and cops and yet has almost zero incarceration, that is, incarceration as a way of closing a plot thread. Especially since the Night Of Makeshift Knives made it clear that incarceration means nothing in this show. I'd imagine now that all Nazis will die but Lydia will somehow be locked up and yet and yet has that happened to anybody on this show? It's been like brains or nothing

flamboyant goon tie included, Monday, 23 September 2013 06:09 (twelve years ago)

a poll's not gonna cover all the death spreads for next episode

the ricin - is it for Walt's old friends at Grey Matter?

my guess: Lydia goes out Hitler-style, like her Madrigal compatriot in Germany

Nhex, Monday, 23 September 2013 06:16 (twelve years ago)

One way for Jesse to keep Brock alive (and Andrea if he's acted early enough) would be suicide. Don't fancy trying to kill myself with a paperclip but where there's a will...

What I cannot bear is "normality." (dowd), Monday, 23 September 2013 06:43 (twelve years ago)

I was very satisfied by this episode.

i hope walt's going back to NM to gun down gretchen & elliott and when skyler sees him and is like 'you came back to take the fall for us...' hes like 'huh, what?'

i wanna be a gabbneb baby (Hungry4Ass), Monday, 23 September 2013 10:01 (twelve years ago)

it was hard to tell whether Walt reacted more to E&G dismissing his contributions to Grey Matter or the news that the blue meth was still out there. I don't know if they can fit Walt going after the Nazis and E&G into one episode. Though it is fitting that after Flynn shredded Walt's "I did it all for my family" delusion, he immediately is confronted with his real motivation, ego.

President Keyes, Monday, 23 September 2013 10:12 (twelve years ago)

was he for real about giving himself up? but then changed his mind once he saw that tv report?

Evil Juice Box Man (LocalGarda), Monday, 23 September 2013 10:13 (twelve years ago)

liking his new gary oldman look.

Evil Juice Box Man (LocalGarda), Monday, 23 September 2013 10:13 (twelve years ago)

i was actually imagining the show w/gary oldman as walt the other day. would still be good but prob not as funny

i wanna be a gabbneb baby (Hungry4Ass), Monday, 23 September 2013 10:19 (twelve years ago)

Jeff Daniels beat Cranston to the Lead Actor in a Drama Emmy? FFS.

bizarro gazzara, Monday, 23 September 2013 10:31 (twelve years ago)

Walt should have given a few speeches about the Tea Party

President Keyes, Monday, 23 September 2013 10:38 (twelve years ago)

michelle maclaren lost too, but i guess fincher was a gimme

i wanna be a gabbneb baby (Hungry4Ass), Monday, 23 September 2013 10:43 (twelve years ago)

Weird to see Walt surrounded by snow after five seasons of baking Albuquerque landscapes, especially after the desert scenes of the last couple of episodes. He's out in the cold in every sense, I guess.

bizarro gazzara, Monday, 23 September 2013 11:10 (twelve years ago)

I just had to smile when I saw that the disappearer guy was Robert Forster

name, location?

first I think it's time I kick a little verse! (Alfred, Lord Sotosyn), Monday, 23 September 2013 12:03 (twelve years ago)

I don't see how Walt gets out of the state/gets to NM without encountering law enforcement esp. after alerting them to where he is/what he looks like.

One bad call from barely losing to (Alex in SF), Monday, 23 September 2013 12:28 (twelve years ago)

the whole calling the cops thing was a calculated gambit to focus attention on NH, he wants a head start traveling to the last place they expect to see him, NM, prolly half the ppl working his case are en route to NH now

rural places do tend to have a one road in / one road out layout tho, this is a suspen of disbe situation we got here
