New Apple Lust Objects for 2010 and onward

issues i keep hearing about are-

- keyboard lag (esp. when switching from alpha to numeric)
- wallpaper lag
- spontaneous rebooting
- no transparency in control centre (not technically an issue tbh)

yeah, I have no idea what the problems would be there, the only iPads made since then were only tweaked a little

the betas were a bit laggier

I'm not seeing lag in typing or wallpaper. And thankfully it hasn't spontaneously rebooted. I'll keep an eye out for stuff and report in if things occur.

this is cool! I am easy to please, give me new shiny things. but: wtf @ find my friends still looking like a leather notebook. I use that app like crazy & uggh compared to the other slick stuff.

was just thinking, apple has three pricing levels for the iphone (usa with contract) which up until today looked like

$200 current iphone
$100 year old iphone
$0 two year old iphone

now they look like

$200 current iphone
$100 iphone C
$0 two year old iphone

next year maybe they look like

$200 current iphone
$100 iphone C
$0 NEW KIND OF CHEAP IPHONE (two y/o iphone in new case)

What's nuts is that earlier this week I sold two iPhone 4 (not 4S, the three year old 4) for $250 each cash on Craigslist. Granted both were impeccable and I kept the boxes (with untouched chargers, cords, headphones). I had no idea there was still a market for the 4.

got some slowdown earlier which is annoying but on the whole seems a pleasant enough upgrade

need some flattened icons for essential apps tho like stat

wow, really not enjoying ios 7 so far. slow transitions, head-spinny zoom effects, really stupid folders. seriously, the folders suck. and parallax wallpaper is just irritating.

Has anyone done this on a 4s yet? Kind of concerned it will take up a ton of space and slow performance.

I'm on a plain old 4 and it seems fine.

i think the single worst thing about ios 7 is seeing arment and gruber wank themselves to death over it

all ilx themes are ugly except the ones I like

Yeah I'll be interested to see how design changes continue to roll out. So far I'm loving the basics of the update.

Just discovered Swinsian. Lightweight iTunes replacement that lets you open playlists as windows. Also each playlist has it's own browser. Also FLAC etc. Could be a winner?

tag editing that's not in a dialog box, and wicked fast itunes import (just add tracks or move files or copy). I think we have a winner.

ios7 conked out halfway through install and temp-bricked my phone until i full-on restored

thankfully the pc bootstrap dbag in me made me back up before i upgraded so at least i could restore, cant wait till everyone's mom fucks their shit up the same way

anyway this looks good if a little garish but i realized im not seeing lots of the changes because most of my default apple apps are squirreled away in a folder and long since replaced by better versions
