iPhone apps S/D

When I saw those new 5c covers my first thought was of all the fluff and bits which would get stuck in the holes while it rattled around in my handbag.

I'm in the "iPhone cases are for disgusting savages" camp but the ones with holes in them that go with the 5c are kinda stylish.

Ya truth. iPhone is too slim and svelte for my gargantuan monster hands and too delicate for my accident-prone clumsiness.

iPhone too slippery without a case.

I drop my phone all the time, it has one hairline crack on the back glass.

i go caseless but if i were to get one i'd get one of those combo credit card holder ones

u can get yr glass replaced p cheap at a third party place or even cheaper if you buy a kit, like cheaper than a lot of cases

I think my case was $15!

Mine was $1.50 shipping included from eBay. Not an otterbox by any means but it does the job.

Since I can't get through the iOS update, a question: what's the best screenshot app for iPhone and iPad? One that lets you choose which part of the screen to capture?

Not possible without jailbreaking, I think.

There's loads in the official App Store though? Was just wondering what the best one is.

is notesy still the "best" for "offline editing and dropbox syncing in a way that is compatible with notational velocity on the desktop"?

because I did a lot of offline editing yesterday ON IPHONE & found it assy for cutting and pasting. is there something better now?

i sync simplenote with notational v.

simplenote was shitty for a while, maybe it's gotten better though

i use plaintext because it's free. no idea how others compare tho

used simplenote until i got screwed too many times, maybe it's better now.

don't love notesy but it seems to work with nv+dropbox

New podcast app a serious improvement in stability too - interface still strange though. FINALLY you can sort unplayed list oldest->newest.

Am fucked off at the Music app and how the artists and albums views are now different. Artist view shows all tracks to all albums so I have to scroll down through 400 tracks for to get to the latest album of some artists, and you can't play or shuffle tracks from just one album without going to the separate album view.

New Tweetbot.... I just don't know. At least I figured out how to change the font size.

i still can't figure out why this app does what it does. why does it list some episodes that i DONT have on my iphone and not others? why does it always erase podcasts when i sync to my computer if i've only listened to them partially? argh. i hate it. i hate it.

Yes, it has an OS X client, though it does cost £5.99 I think in the UK.

I bought both and at first it wasn't syncing, then magically it was. I'm thinking it was maybe just an iCloud blip. In the meantime I contacted the developer and he was responsive and friendly.
