Agree it would be the kind of twist BB excels in, and just more fun story-telling, if Jesse to pulls something ingenious off and save at least somebody - but what could he do that would be plausible? I wish I could remember more clearly where everyone was in the shootout.

Just remembered that bit of dialogue in the diner toilets where 2nd nazi talks about beating up kids who wear ppe on bikes "for their own good".

Looks like Jesse is going to back over Hank and Gomie at high speed and drag them under the car to safety and they shoot the Nazis' tires out while clinging to the undercarriage. Mystery solved.

also like the idea of aero's prediction playing out over the whole three final episodes. walt dies in first five minutes of next episode, remainder of season devoted to really elaborate big dubstep party subplot

Exciting that Damon Lindelof is at the helm for the final two episodes.

the way uncle jack glanced at walt and then jesse made me think he'd sized up the situation for what it was and figured if walt hadn't talked yet he definitely would sell them out the first opportunity he got. i don't think the synopsis or trailer for next episode reveal anything. have a weird feeling that much of next episode will be 'meanwhile back in the states' and we won't get the 'meanwhile back in the jungle' reveal until late. maybe intro is police/feds at crime scene, we see gomie and hank's bodies, have no idea what happened to walt and jesse or where they are, roll opening credits. first significant chunk (til second commercial break say) is skylar trying to reach walt, marie freaking out, walt jr finding out, 'everyone coping w/ radically changed circumstances'. then we find out what happened w/ walt and jesse, normal season i'd guess the end of the episode, but time is short so maybe we end w/ jesse working for the aryans and walt hauling ass to new hampshire.

i like that aaron paul revealing that there was an epic 'bitch' yet to come seemed such a lol spoiler at the time and now seems very telling, like now we know at some point in the last three episodes something goes right for jesse

either that or his last words are "Oh this time it's real! Jane! I'm coming to join ya, bitch!"

Cranston gets most of the love but the last 13+ episodes of beaten down and destroyed Jesse have been A+ acting.

maybe the last scene is jesse arriving on the vegas strip and who should he run into but his old buddy...vinnie chase. jesse looks at the camera, winks, and let's out an epic 'VEGAS BITCH'. camera pans up to a neon casino sign (maybe a blue one), fade to black, 'directed by vince gilligan'.

It's hard to make Jesse's condition interesting without being overwrought or dull but he gets away it. Editing helps.

i dont watch breaking bad but im getting v concerned for this jesse fellow who’s ugly crying in ever photoset, has anyone helped this child. he seems like he needs help. he looks like he needs someone to take him to the ihop and give him a little league trophy or something, someone help this kid.

The mighty Flynn has always brought us a little bit 'o' sunshine at just the right moments, but outdid himself when Saul showed up at the carwash: not only did the merry moment not detract from the momentum, somehow added to it, added some spin of elements (cue "Leader of the Laundromat"). of course it's probably gonna be one of his last happy encounters before all the crazy adults rain on his parade--but meanwhile, he lives his life as he should. One of the BB genius scenes.

this sounds right. same pattern as the jesse arson cliffhanger maybe, or they might even return to the flash-forward... especially if hank and gomez are killed, it would be really weird for BB to jump right back into the action

Great work.

For all those kvetching about bad shooting, note the similarly armored North Hollywood shootout perpetrators were shot up to 20 times in the legs before losing consciousness.

If the nazis had any military experience, they'd pin Hank & Gomie with the guys on the truck, and zip around with the sedan. Fire base and maneuver element.

The real issue for Hank and Gomez will be ammo supply. Both have run through at least one mag by the end of the episode, while I suspect the nazis so far are just using recreational amounts of lead.

Assuming Hank and Gomez haven't notified DEA compatriots, next episode, they run out and can't bluff, the Nazis move around, and off 'em.

If they notified someone else at the DEA of the location, then the Nazis have <i>issues</i>.

Once Hank and Gomez are behind some cover, wouldn't the thing to do be to call for backup?

Kind of weird, but this didn't actually occur to me till now. I have no idea how long it would take for that backup to arrive though. The nazis seemed to have made it there pretty quick.
