My 4S is white. I kind of like being the one guy in the office with the white phone, so dudes are like "White iPhone, huh?" and I'm like "Yup." And then I just stare them down for a while.

when you do this, you should slowly raise your white iPhone and take a picture of them; if they ask why you did that, just say "it's for later" and refuse to give any more info

i want to get ba white one this time but like Hurting im having trouble getting passed the gold/silver. honestly i like the gold better than the silver but theyre both pretty bad. I might wait until i see them with my eyes. At least its not black and gold.

i'm definitely getting the gold one. it's like comic sans.

champagne sounds too much like pee. i guess phonetically it's not close to pee, but champagne more readily conjures up images of the phone being finished on the assembly line with a thin film of pee than gold does.

i'm getting the black one and having it gold-plated

with gold. i'm going to be drinking champagne, though

also not sure ive seen it mentioned here but a lot of the pundits are speculating that the rumored 'cheap' iphone never materialized cause it would ruin it as an asperational object which sounds about right

I don't think they've built a cheap iPhone because it'd yoke them into supporting more iOS versions or holding on to support for old hardware in old iOS versions and backward compatibility and supporting multiple platforms is the largest sinkhole in software development

People get so invested in declaring every Apple product a failure before it's even gone on sale. I don't think they've actually had a massive sales disappointment in a long time (did the iPad mini sell ok?) but people keep biting away at them -- the haters are as bad as the fanbois.

all I'm saying is that they made a phone the color of my mother-in-law's old lady car; if that makes me a hater, then so be it

And a lot of the press and "expert" commentary is so tainted on both ends because the stock is so heavily followed -- i.e. there are a lot of people hoping to make money on them either succeeding or failing.

ya lots of people speculating all these new phones aimed squarely at asia

regardless i do think its kinda an interesting move at a time when all phones are p much low key and black slab looking things, there def used to be more variety of colors and whimsy before smartphones
