I think Pheromoans (who are bloody brilliant) are on quite early, after Men Oh Pause who're starting up. 19:30 doors, will probably head there for around that time.

Will probably get to the Crowley Club a bit later but should eventually wend my way there.

At home now, so will get down for 8 or so.

Well who knows if they'll be any good after this many years but (1) Robert Hampson doesn't seem to have mellowed much over the years, this is a good sign, and (2) their songs seem like they would be pretty hard to fuck up - if it's sufficiently loud and sufficiently dark, it will be fantastic.

Theoretically possible but not great? Last trains are around half eleven, I think. *Might* be sofa/floor space at ours if you want to risk ilx0rs who you've met once not being axe murderers. I have actually killed both NickB and Chewshabadoo and now operate their accounts, so they'll vouch for me. Though I guess if you need to get back for work in the day then that's a different matter.

There was a Riots Not Diets last night so no Bohmans. Went to the Kuchar shorts gig, though, twas good, even if the screen fell down and they had to project awkwardly over the wall and some high cupboards. Oops.

Really want to go to Goblin but not sure if I can afford to buy tickets straight away. Hopefully won't sell out too quickly.

finally getting to see richard youngs tomorrow! not sure what else is good on friday but i saw rat bastard with the laundryroom squelchers like a zillion years ago and he was great.

Night was loads of fun! Doing another one on December 14th.

I am flipping exhausted. COOS was ace for the most part, but I'm glad it's done. Think my highlights were Hiroshi Hasegawa & Reiko.A, Poloumi Desai, Roman Nose, CM von Hausswolff & Michael Esposito, Woven Skull and Andy Guhl, though there was loads of other stuff worth a mention, honestly. Also really nice to hang with you over the weekend, Nick.

Not sure if I'm going to make it to Holter, apparently we didn't get tickets already and I was out tonight for a 6-hour band practice, sooooo... I know I'll regret it if I miss her, though.

Yeah great event, thanks for putting up w/ me! Very tired too, my batteries were really starting to run down on Sunday. My dirty, shameful secret is that I kept having to go and sit down in a quiet corner and listen to rock music underneath my hood. Think my favourite things were Jooklo Duo, Youngs/Fowler/Campbell, Occult Hand, Andie Brown & Sharon Gal, and yes Hasegawa & (especially) Reiko Azuma, but my favourite set was DDAA who I had totally never heard of but they seem to have been going forever, check this out:
