Better to be overqualified that underqualified I suppose. That said, I tend to find I'm overqualified for some jobs and slightly underqualified for others. What's a boy to do? Still, fingers crossed.
My new helpline job is ok though. We're allowed to read between calls, so I ploughed through most of Hemingway's Fiesta today. Not one of his best, but entertaining in a ridiculously macho way. "She had curves like a prize yacht" etc...

Yes I suppose so. My work colleague continually gives people grief for being weegies. This happens a lot at work. The real joke is in the fact that every last man jack of us is actually from Glasgow.

This pub was in Glasgow. I defied last orders caller until he looked too scary (i.e. I couldn't be arsed drinking any more). I walked to the station, got a train, got back to Paisley, if I hadn't gone home I could have gone to the pub and have been drinking a pint still (and we left the pub an hour ago).
