I think most of the viewers would be satisfied with an "happy" ending where Walt is punished for his sins, but Hank & Marie + Walt Jr. & Holly continue with their lives. Jesse and Skyler can go either way, IMO.
Maybe in Finland. Everywhere else in the world we crave a bloodbath of Shakesperian proportions.
― Shamrock Shoe (LocalGarda), Thursday, 22 August 2013 06:52 (twelve years ago)
Shakespearean even, google says. I'm sure I've seen it with the second "a" dropped.
― Shamrock Shoe (LocalGarda), Thursday, 22 August 2013 06:55 (twelve years ago)
viewers are CRAVING a fair trial and sentencing for walt and a dignified picking up the pieces for everyone else
― socki (s1ocki), Thursday, 22 August 2013 13:00 (twelve years ago)
I wouldn't mind if the last episode was basically an episode of Perry Mason.

As Jeff said to me the other day, some people are going to be really disappointed in how Breaking Bad ends. Maybe even.... YOU.

PROSECUTION: So you wouldn't have killed all those people, except you had a preliminary cancer diagnosis, and to pay for treatment you started cooking and dealing meth and eventually became a large supplier in the region, necessitating multiple murders, including one of a child committed by your associate, Todd?WHITE: That's correct.PROSECUTION: The prosecution rests.BENCH: Does the defense have any questions for this witness?DEFENSE: Your honor, the defense rests

Surprise witness: That jock Walt beat up at the jeans store.

Hah, yeah, it'll be like the final "Seinfeld," with Walt on the stand, confronted by everyone he has wronged.

― cops on horse (WilliamC), Thursday, 22 August 2013 13:58 (twelve years ago)
But don't you see? Gilligan was always off the island. It's the rest of us who were on the island.
― Josh in Chicago, Thursday, 22 August 2013 14:56 (twelve years ago)
This is a good television show. Don't start bringing talk about the island show into this thread. I don't give a fuck about a smoke monster.
― pplains, Thursday, 22 August 2013 14:58 (twelve years ago)
Walt is a (smoke) monster
― mh, Thursday, 22 August 2013 15:04 (twelve years ago)

I dunno this is something both the wife and I have noted, I guess we just have different standards or something ... Cranston is all beady-eyed, Aaron Paul's got a giant watermelon head, etc. Giancarlo maybe the most handsome, I'll give you that one.
