someone upthread said it's not nice to die of ricining

What if you bake it into ricin crispy treats?

Josh in Chicago, Wednesday, 21 August 2013 15:34 (twelve years ago)

I dunno. They could come out horribly formed.

touch. zing touch. you've almost convinced me I'm real (Sufjan Grafton), Wednesday, 21 August 2013 15:39 (twelve years ago)

i'm not predict-y but i'm kind of on board with this

Ditto. Breaking Bad is not some Haneke joint.

It gets close!

Never felt that Walt would kill Skyler (not that that means it won't happen). We've never been really clear what his real feelings are towards her.

kinder, Wednesday, 21 August 2013 17:31 (twelve years ago)

I think we've already seen enough things to hate Walt and now that we're coming to the end they're setting up Todd + Lydia + Nazis as the real bad guys and we'll be able to root for Walt at the end to take care of them and the show will end without everyone feeling so terrible about themselves. I'll say it now, Walt is not going to kill Hank, Marie, Rebar or Jesse.

I don't think there'll be a Kill 'Em All ending either, but no way is BB gonna redeem Walt! The main arc of the entire series has been his slippery slope into villaindom, so Walt being triumphant at the end just so the viewers can root for him would be a total cop-out. Plus they already did the trick where you root for Walt because he's against a bigger bad guy with Gus, so doing it again would be redundant. I think most of the viewers would be satisfied with an "happy" ending where Walt is punished for his sins, but Hank & Marie + Walt Jr. & Holly continue with their lives. Jesse and Skyler can go either way, IMO.

I feel like he's just gonna curl up in a hole somewhere and die of cancer

polyphonic, Wednesday, 21 August 2013 17:34 (twelve years ago)

i will be very very surprised if hank/marie/walt jr./holly get out of this unscathed.

socki (s1ocki), Wednesday, 21 August 2013 18:59 (twelve years ago)

Maybe he'll give himself the ricin.

as his screams of "TOP OF THE WORLD, PA!" echo through the mountain range, we cut to Walt, safe in his island hideaway, making small talk with skylar before sipping his morning OJ from jesse's skull as

sounds farfetched but who woulda laid money on "don't stop believin'" for the end of the sopranos?

Wait when did she wear yellow

polyphonic, Wednesday, 21 August 2013 19:46 (twelve years ago)

it was cut off but then i looked at the thumbnail and it says just before hank discovers walt is ww so maybe at that gathering at the pool

lag∞n, Wednesday, 21 August 2013 19:47 (twelve years ago)

but maybe thats referring tot hat light purple strip, i feel like maybe i noted her not wearing purple in this last ep

lag∞n, Wednesday, 21 August 2013 19:48 (twelve years ago)

so maybe at that gathering at the pool

yeah feel like it's in that scene where Hank opens the patio door after finding Leaves of Grass and the first thing you hear is Marie saying to Walt, "oh you're a devil!"

dmr, Wednesday, 21 August 2013 20:21 (twelve years ago)

That's not yellow, that's orange, Marie's the only one going to jail.

she will PAY for that goddamn kleptomania

last shot is the rest of the family, alive, free, together, and united in disgust towards Marie.

I think we'll see Walt wake in the morning and step outside
take a deep breath and get real high

kinder, Wednesday, 21 August 2013 21:04 (twelve years ago)

I wonder if sklar feels a little stupid after relentlessly hounding Marie to apologie Marie refusing to apologize to skylar for stealing the tiara seems pretty insignificant now.

"Max's Original Starship" Vol. 3 (sunny successor), Thursday, 22 August 2013 04:20 (twelve years ago)

I can't help but think aaron paul is going to become an "i didn't do it" guy. 20 years from now he'll be at comic conventions getting interrupted in the middle of anecdotes by fans demanding "yeah bitch"

he seems to be employing some kind of reverse psych with his claim that he enjoys being called bitch too.

Maybe in Finland. Everywhere else in the world we crave a bloodbath of Shakesperian proportions.

Shakespearean even, google says. I'm sure I've seen it with the second "a" dropped.

viewers are CRAVING a fair trial and sentencing for walt and a dignified picking up the pieces for everyone else

socki (s1ocki), Thursday, 22 August 2013 13:00 (twelve years ago)

I wouldn't mind if the last episode was basically an episode of Perry Mason.

Clyde One DJ Diane “Knoxy” Knox-Campbell (Merdeyeux), Thursday, 22 August 2013 13:11 (twelve years ago)

As Jeff said to me the other day, some people are going to be really disappointed in how Breaking Bad ends. Maybe even.... YOU.

PROSECUTION: So you wouldn't have killed all those people, except you had a preliminary cancer diagnosis, and to pay for treatment you started cooking and dealing meth and eventually became a large supplier in the region, necessitating multiple murders, including one of a child committed by your associate, Todd?
WHITE: That's correct.
PROSECUTION: The prosecution rests.
BENCH: Does the defense have any questions for this witness?
DEFENSE: Your honor, the defense rests
