That's the promo for Season 3.

I felt that way about the first two, but I loved the coke episode.

yeah, true, the Ray/Shoshana "I love you" scene was obnoxiously romcom, for example. I wonder if that's the imprint of Apatow.

Something about the cocaine bit just perfectly captured the phenomenon of doing something "for the experience" in a hilarious way.

I just hope Dunham dedicated herself to write a good story this time. I keep wondering why I should get back to those characters.

I was just saying to H that Jessa is oddly the only character I find likable.

But I still think Dunham is very funny.

I can't really put my finger on why Jessa. Hot obvs, but so is Marnie and I find her awful. I guess it's some cliche about being "honest about who she is" or something.

She's sort of the pure id of group

She's also quite funny, unlike Marnie.

The only bits of last season that I found at all interesting were the more extreme behavioral bits of the penultimate episodes. The finale was all kinds of terrible.

Season 2 is definitely more uneven, kind of experimental in places, and has a few seriously freaky turns, especially in the last few episodes. Not as coherent or consistent as the first season, but frequently compelling in a batshit way.

Though the Season 3 promo looks like fun, it also vaguely makes it look like the last 2-3 eps of Season 2 never happened - I'm hoping the events therein don't get ignored or handwaved away too easily.

it's pretty amazing that the only contemporary television show Morbius has any time for is the one produced by Apatow, how does that even happen

He watched an episode of the sopranos once

I bought/watched "One Man's Trash" on a Virgin flight (TVs in the headrests). Didn't look at my seatmates during.

through most of season 2, p good overall. One Man's Trash is good. I also enjoyed the Ray and Adam buddy picture short on SI, although I thought the dog owner's daughter read p much like a rich kid's fantasy of who lives on SI and not a real person. The internet startup feels a little unreal but I think it's supposed to be mildly caricatured, and it works on that level. The whole Adam AA blind date thing felt a little forced, mostly just a setup for LD to do that one sex scene, which was daring and important and all so I can't complain too much.

I liked the visit to Jessa's house a lot. Hannah's OCD also feels like something forced into the show, and I also feel like she tried to make the parents seem worse than they did in the past in order to make her character more sympathetic, like "see, she actually has it just as bad as Jessa." And also there's the whole thing with Marnie's narcissistic mother. Like they all need to have some sad backstory as an excuse. It's a little annoying and quid-aggy.

Was surprised to learn that the actor who played Charlie quit the show. Lol. I hope they just continue on with the show as if he never existed, never referring to him again etc a la richie's older brother on happy days

Or have a different actor play him like on Roseanne
