I see Planningtorock is playing in December too, could be worth a look. First time I heard her was here at loop and she was amazing.

Not sure when tickets are going to be released (possibly today), but there's a free event in Bexhill in November that sounds interesting if you like a bit of performance art grindcore - Napalm Death playing through a ceramic sound system that will disintegrate over the course of the performance. Keep an eye on the De La Warr twitter account I guess...

Ah that was supposed to happen at the V&A museum (I think) but got cancelled because they were worried about it damaging the structure of the building as well as the ceramics.

I'd be interested in that if I‘m free. Could you text me if they become available?

Am pretty skinted and still poorly so not this time. I thought he was amazing a while back when he played Cafe Oto though.

He was great at the Free Butt a few years back too, but that also immensely frustrating cos it was when they had their volume limiter thingy installed, so he would be piling on the layers and really building up to his proper operating sound intensity and then *oops* ~~~silence~~~

Well who knows if they'll be any good after this many years but (1) Robert Hampson doesn't seem to have mellowed much over the years, this is a good sign, and (2) their songs seem like they would be pretty hard to fuck up - if it's sufficiently loud and sufficiently dark, it will be fantastic.

Anyone else doing Colour Out Of Space this year? Excited that Richard Youngs will be featuring.

No, I'm playing at the West Hill! Supporting the Lovely Eggs. Seriously sucky day for gig clashes, though, I agree.

If you fancy drinks after then West Hill Hall gigs always end up being West Hill Pub aftershows...
