The message implies that /u/ChuckSpears was... well I have to invent a term for this. See, not only was he shadowbanned, but his alts were banned, his IP was blacklisted, and he couldn't even log into his accounts since the admins changed the passwords AND disabled password resetting.

This is beyond any ban that I witnessed on this site. This is now called getting "Chucked." (thanks /u/billyup for coming up with the term)

I'll say that they found a pediatric cancer hospital, ran a flickr/instagram map check of the place, found an account for one of the kids' parents, doxxed the parents, found facebook pages, zoomed in on door of one photo to find what floor the kid was on, called local Papa John's, asked for 10 pizzas to be delivered to hospital floor....

....nurses ask who they're from. Pizza guy says they were ordered online with credit card. Nurses get weirded out since the name of the first kid is on the delivery label and he died last week. Smell of pizzas make kids nauseous. Mass vomiting ensues. redditors pat themselves on the back and go back to r/asiankittyflattax

ok, so the actual story is very sweet and basically makes me want to cry, but true to reddit fashion, they totally overwhelmed the hospital who had to emphatically tell the community "DOWN, BOY. DOWN."

My barber and I were talking about Quebec yesterday. He says there are a lot of LSU fans up there.

recently on the reddit's québec board there was a young american with quebecois origins, fluent in french (3rd generation) (we were impressed, that's rare) that started a discussion , asking what we think of our cousins in the south. that was fun but bitter sweet; we know french was spoken in the usa a lot more before but at one point your gov closed french schools and assimilation did it's thing but i learned that apparently La Louisiane started to hire french teachers in schools and there are projects like making road signs bilingual in certain places . that's pretty cool.
