got back from visiting family, ate cereal for dinner bc nothing in the house, spent an hour arguing with Verizon customer service, now trying to decide whether to buy beer across the street

- I spent most of the day working on this sci-fi ballet, the full score of which was due yesterday. I have completed about 50% of it.
- I am not looking at the fine print of the commissioning agreement in worry that there's a "we kick your ass if you're late" clause.
- My bf came home with a nice piece of hangar steak and so I fried it for him in butter with shallots and wine.

tried some polysporin but i think it gave me that rudolph the red nose raindeer pimple on mah nose , blocked em pores. or maybe it was the coffee energy drink i drank before i started: a rare case when a first world man needed that extra energy for real.

We made ivy gourd in peanut-tamarind curry sauce and watched House of the Devil.

Yeah I like Ti West's retro shtick. We watched The Innkeepers a few months ago. I wish he spent a little more time on plot mechanics, but plot wasn't the strong point of the movies he's paying tribute to. I really like how long he's willing to go -- in a short movie -- with basically nothing happening.

i embraced the lameless of it as it was unfolding in front of me, made me think of sat. afternoons watching some Commander USA's Groovie Movies , lame program but you sort of had to solider through it because it was somewhat interesting "information", rare back then. also, makes room for one's imagination, to make it better so you did not waste your time on it. the guy would probably hate my endorsing, i am so unreliable.

harry potter + prisoner of azkaban. my favorite of all the potters

def (of the ones i read). hermione timetraveling to class is my favorite thing in the series.

i like the prisoner of azkaban too. although i disagree with jk rowling's decision to introduce time travel into the harry potter universe because once time travel is introduced it throws everything else into question. why not use that shit all the time? and if it is "too dangerous" to do that, why allow hermione to use it just to take a 5th class?
