I appreciate that Hannibal relates to other human beings, but the deeper the relationship becomes the more it deviates from normal interaction. Really well-acted rapport between Mikkelsen and Anderson.

On rewatch I am appreciating the sound design and musical cues even more. My initial viewing was very much influenced by the fact that I knew the nature of Hannibal Lecter's character. This time through, it seems really obvious that Will Graham is the killer. Completely believable that the other characters would think he was.

this show is weird, like, until that episode i felt like it didn't know what game it was playing, then the last fifteen minutes of that one (montage to chirpy classical of hannibal's recipe cards and offal cookery shots, cut to will and the medical examiners staring at series of bodies) was some of the most bravura tv i have seen
