oh man, fortuitous thread bump, just watched the first three eps of s2 today. Honestly there's nothing I find more charming than teen detectives.

have been shipping Veronica/Weevil all along but my sister tells me that's not a thing.

man, it looks as if they're going to get pretty much every major or beloved character from the original series that didn't die or have to flee the country. personally hoping they manage to swing principal clemmons and corny, if it's going to be a high school reunion mystery.

I remember watching an episode of the show back when it was on the air and it did nothing for me but the trailer is making me excited for the movie and maybe I should try watching the show again?

Yeah!

my hope is that the movie will work as a standalone piece and that people who've never seen an episode will enjoy it, but it's hard to tell if's going to rely heavily on familiarity with the characters or if the trailer is just playing up things that will get the fans excited.

i was actually pretty excited to hear that news today -- we have amazon prime hooked up to the TV, and recently rewatched the first season of VM but don't have the other two seasons on DVD.

we just started the first season last weekend -- i totally dig it

also I think it's the first thing I've ever enjoyed Amanda Seyfried in. I always thought she looked like a goldfish before this.
