That statement could apply to 90% of blogs! I just thought the idea of letting your kids take a fall in the playground where it's relatively safe didn't seem so bad.

i'm all for kids taking risks in play - important part of development - but that's not really what that piece is about

It could have been framed a whole lot differently. As it was, it dishes out a little dose of hostility toward other parents/adults and insists on creating enemies out them for her to do battle against. Why not just write about how kids need to be allowed to take risks for their healthy development?
