pineapple on pizza

I would never order pineapple on a pizza, but if it were served to me & I was hungry, I'd totally chow down on it.

now if we were talking scallops...

I don't eat meat. Still love pineapple pizza. Actually, went to a pizza party a few weeks ago with a group that was probably 60/40 meat-eater/vegetarian split and the pineapple-only pizza was the overwhelming favorite.

There are few pizzerias who overload the pizza with pineapple, I can understand not liking that. It is perhaps a difficult balance, but once it hit the spot it is amazing if you don't like it you shouldn't have rights etc

Just as I don't pepperoni. Why not use real italian sausage instead of industrial garbage?

durian tastes nice once you get past the smell, and it's true, if you have it semi-frozen the smell isn't so bad.

someone upthread mentioned andouillette -- i've only read about it and seen pictures, but i think i will give a WIDE berth to that one.

...think I'll be skipping that one. Colon on my pizza is going too far.

All have a strong, distinctive odor related to their intestinal origins and components. Although sometimes repellant to the uninitiated, this aspect of andouillette is prized by its devotees.

Andouillete is one of the three sort of meat that I miss since I became a vegetarian, along with foie gras and merguez.

Tbs, it doesn't make much sense on pizza.

Its primary topping was cured pork fat.

Those balls of corruption got no place on pizzas, that is horrible. Pineapple is fine !

in my experience green onions are not slimy, etc. on pizza - they're not cooked before hand, just tossed on raw, so they dry out, get a little singed maybe - very flavorful

i've had lots of solid japanese pizza.

there was this place i used to go... looked sort of like a toned down olive garden, red white checked tablecloths under plexiglass. the pizza was over the top pizza hut japan innovations dignified by an east asian ideal of authentic italian. my go-to was, blistered crust light on cheese, mayo + tuna + potato. i think mayonnaise on pizzas is tremendous.
