I wanted number 40, with gorgonzola and cured ham. I got number 14, with turkey ham and pineapple. Second worst night of my life. (the worst involves somehow getting a pizza with mussels on it, even though it wasn't on the menu...)

You're probably joking BUT on a whim I threw some celery slices on a pizza I made a few weeks ago and it gave a really nice crunch. I doubted myself as I did it but I had few toppings to work with and hoped for the best.

Pineapple on pizza rules. Husband hates it. We always get differently topped halves as a result.

as a non meat eater i wouldn't ever consider having pineapple on pizza, but i don't have a philosophical problem with it.a

i like the passion ppl have about pizza toppings. pizza is pretty important after all. i am sure we played out a debacle over corn on pizza in times gone by. me, i like cheese pizza. good enough not to have to fuck with it.

the worst is buffalo chicken pizza. that is so popular where i live, for an inexplicable reason. i would rather eat pineapple pizza than buffalo chicken pizza.

Ha, I clicked on this thread with the exact purpose of saying that not only do I like pineapple on pizza, I like barbecue chicken pizza! I used to get that all the time at Fez in NYC, now closed I think. They made a good apple and brie pizza too, I suppose that's also for savages?

I loved living in New Jersey but humorless pizza jag-offery is one thing I don't miss about it. Pizza is not a relic, it's alive and changing like the Constitution! Here in Wisconsin we put macaroni and cheese on our pizza and it's fucking great.

green pepper is not that bad. i <3 mushrooms on everything, if they were an option at frozen yogurt places i would definitely consider them. i made an arugula and poached egg pizza once and it was awesome.

Feel like I mentioned on another thread but one of my favorite local pies is anchovy, pineapple & 'nduja on a rectangular lacy, frico crust.

The combination of toppings reminds me of a niche vietnamese sauce* and it works so well on a pizza.

We made a southwestern sweet potato & soy chorizo pizza last night using some leftovers, it was a triumph.

nice. i'm generally a 2 toppings max person. don't like a slice that is unwieldy if picked up. have never had one with, but chorizo/soyrizo seems like a terrific concept.
