ha yeah it was a relatively short arc but the daughter of one of the housewives had a babby and her mother did the 'pretend it's hers' thing. like all things on that show, it turned out to be stupid and inconsequential, i wish i could stop watching it

i loved the Generalissimo episode very much - liz drugging dr baird was a little eye roll but jack as the Generalissimo is classic for all time. i think the best throwaway line was about tracy getting serious and playing arthur ashe lolll

Yeah, but it led to a couple of the best moments of the episode: "That's not your dog!" "Just RELAX." "I am the Generalissimo!" "I don't know what that means!", so I feel like it was worth it.

I am certain I've seen every episode from the first 2 seasons at least twice, with particular scenes (Jack & Tracy's therapy scene for example) many, many more times than that.

i'm not saying it's not an aspect of the show i enjoy, but if someone makes a list of favorite things about 30 Rock that looks like "1. jack and liz!!! 2. jokes" then something is wrong with them.

i think it is an amazing comedy relationship they have mined brilliantly ("if you were any other woman in the world, i'd be attracted to you right now") so i dont see why it would be dickweedish to maybe really like it a lot?? even like it the best?

i dunno...if they said they liked jokes about j&l over other kinds of jokes, i'd be like ok, but they say relationship over jokes, which is wonky to me.

The main point here though is that many of the jokes don't play well in large swathes of the country, which might explain the show's lack of popularity.

I understood the point of the sentence, it was just a preference stated within the sentence that bugged me.

hah, that's a girl. i didnt particularly like that writeup for those same reasons (weirdly elitist, which was rather out of chracter) but i do like videogum a lot

That lemon party joke had me on the floor while 'er indoors remained on the sofa looking at me like o_O. The beauty of this show in a nutshell right there, and a wikkid parallel with The Simpsons.
