There's a Fuzzy's Tacos near where I work, and I want to eat there but my lunch buddy says the name disgusts her too much. My only counterargument was tacos, but it wasn't enough.

The possessive form of Fuzzy really takes the edge off what could be pretty disgusting.

their tortilla chips are seasoned with "fuzzy dust" apparently. I will go and investigate.

There's also a boutique here in Austin called Wear Art Thou that irritates me more than it should. It's close to the Bark'N'Purr though, which always makes me happy.

''Wear Art Thou'' is so close to being reasonably clever (I'm assuming the idea is that the clothes are ''art'') but really fumbles on the third word.

"Wear art though" would be the nice aside at the end of some snide conversation.

although it would be better punning if the phrase "where art thou" was actually something, other than half the title of a movie

Not exactly local, but on WNYC they keep mentioning this underwriter called "Mail Chimp" and it always comes across to me as "Male Chimp." Terrible name either way.

I thought of this thread today bcz I came up with the name "Backto Realty" which is not a real realtor but if it was it wd belong in this thread.

Lolita's World of Wonder somehow reminds me of the friend who decided to change her life/career/etc. after passing a shuttered tourist trap with faded sign reading "World of Dreams Museum," and having a vision of her own dreams bottled, labeled, and sitting dusty on the shelf of a defunct roadside attraction.
