Is this true? If so, it is ridiculous they don't use additional criteria like away goals, attempts on goal etc. They could even include the clubs' respective disciplinary records.

I can't see how it's a scheduling nightmare to add a huge money spinning Champs League play-off derby to the end of a season.

Tours will be pre-season, it wouldn't be too difficult to add a week onto this season and sell out Wembley at ££££s a ticket.

OK, I've been looking into this. Basically we need Chelsea v Everton to finish 8-8 and Arsenal to beat Newcastle 10-9. Meanwhile Spurs would have to beat Sunderland 16-0 and hope that the FA award them a bonus point for achieving such an outstanding victory.

Newcastle is a step down but actually does look like a good fit for his game imo. Might bring them up to solid 11th in the table (the kind of level that got big Sam fired).
