There's no summer transfer period thread yet, so: rumours in Holland that Liverpool made a 30 quid package deal bid for Eriksen/Alderwereld from Ajax. Would normally call bullshit, can I still kind of do, but Liverpool and BVB have been the only two clubs consistently linked to Eriksen.

I still think Eriksen will go to BVB, but I wouldn't be surprised if LFC made an offer Ajax accepted tbh

Alderweireld (or whatever way the cunts name is spelled) is an Ajax defender, third Belgian in line after Vermaelen and Vertonghen. Not as good as the formoer two, but I can see why he is getting hyped up. Won the title and all. He would be Liverpool's next Konchesky imho, but clubs will agree to anything to get Eriksen on board.

Toby Alderweireld was my best ball-playing centre back in FM13 - 18 for passing, technique and off the ball. Youse can take what you want from that but speaking for myself, I'd definitely take a second look at the lad. Liverpool definitely have the potential to build quite a fun team for next season with a little more investment.

It is possible Alderweireld would be sufficient for Liverpool ~ but that is because Liverpool's defense is shite. Alderweireld is a Vertonghen imposter but not nearly as good. Saw him play every week this season, he's being big-upped because Ajax won the league. Some nice runs forward, but a shite defender tbh.
