I will be interested to see how Hull perform next season. Definitely a weaker side than a few below them in the 2nd Division. Bruce will have to transfer list his son and spend wisely to stay up. Hull are not even close to the quality that Southampton and Norwich possessed as previous promotion sides. It seems crazy that a lot of the current Southampton squad were league 1 regulars a couple of years back.

As far as I can see Cardiff aren't even close to Southampton or Norwich either.

Are Cardiff likely to spend a lot of money? I know they are owned by a billionaire but their financial situation always seems a bit opaque. They don't look a particularly strong squad as it is.
