So, I don't get how its new-agey a new-agey concept at all... I mean, basically isn't the warning screen that comes up before violent TV shows about "graphic depictions that may disturb some viewers" basically a trigger warning?

how the fuck is that any different, you realize that PTSD survivors are allowed to find each other online and make some protocol for themselves and openly talk about triggers like it's something people should respect and not poke fun at, you know you don't need a doctor's note for that right

Trigger warnings are good. Ptsd trauma is a real thing. I dont understand what youre saying T.W.U... why wouldnt you just take someones word for it if they say something is triggering?
