absolutely lost it at his delivery of "I can't tell you how touched I am"

I actually had to stop and rewind it

it's impressively terrible

my favorite gillen line delivery in this entire show is "PLAY WITH HER AAAASS"

his Carcetti was kinda weird but he's really breaking new ground here

Jamie becoming one of my favourite characters in the show at exactly the equivalent point he started becoming one of my favourites in the book, great work from Nicholaj Coster Waldau.

It's so fucking weird. It's got a touch of Irish about it but the rhythm is a bit "I vont to suck your blooood"

I kind of like his ridiculous accent, but I just like to think of it as some weirdo accent from wherever his character is from. Tyrion's is a bit funnier, but I'm cool with it too.

Yeah, I keep thinking booby dresses everytime I see Marjorie. It feels like the nearer we get to the wedding the boobier the dress becomes.

Also bummed there was no movement on the Podrick Sexual Prowess front. I hope that pays off.

tbf we did get to learn the finer points of ricky & bianca's inevitable union instead

Loved the scene with Tywin, Tyrion and Cersei at the end. This speculation might be lolworthy to anyone who's read the books but it feels like the Tyrrells aren't that interested in dicking over the Lannisters, and that Tywin doesn't have a clue what Littlefinger's planning. So this whole thing will probably end in Sansa's escape rather than the opposite. I guess Shae will be crucial here at some point?

Also Stannis finally got interesting in this episode, although his homelife is so shitty it explains why he'll go to such extreme lengths to get out of the house. Was there any explanation for the pickled babies?

if you really wanted to bend over backward for gillen you could argue that littlefinger's weird accent is the accent of a small northern lord attempting to lose his rural accent to fit in better in the southern cities. but game of thrones is pretty inconsistent w/ accents--a lot of the northmen have solid northern accents but not all--davos still sounds irish--thoros of myr should by all rights have some kind of european-ish accent if he's from myr

Basically if you have a posh mum you tend to talk like her until you get older and start caring about sounding more like your friends.

I think the Baratheons may have been raised separately, Robert was a ward of Jon Aryn with Ned Stark.
