I missed several of them but this is on par. I've actually turned it off.

Earlier there was a repeat of the Jennifer Lawrence episode and turned it on to the Danielle (Emmanuelle) sketch and I'm still convinced that was gold.

ZG in general isn't as funny to me now as maybe ten years or even five years ago. Overexposure? I dunno. But he just the same things over and over at this point, sometimes funny and sometimes painful.

Does he still do standup at all? Yeah, it was kinda standard ZG shit tonight, but it also felt like he was kind of rusty.

The Mother's Day flower commercial was probably the only funny skit tonight. Kristen Wiig hosted and Vampire Weekend were the musical guests. I'm with Lex in disliking Vampire Weekend's "Diane Young" song and its gimmicky vocals. Their second number was better.

I guess the opening Benghazi panel skit with Jodi Arias had some funny moments.

I'd wager that Kate McKinnon is probably gonna be Kristin Wiig Famous one day, if not more.

I liked the korean (japanese would be more appropriate I think) ghost mom skit. Otherwise pretty underwhelming.

That was good--it was a fake Disney channel show.

The Mother's Day commercial confirmed my belief that Kate McKinnon is Julia Sweeney with better impressions.

i liked the acupuncture skit because it was really stupid and not very well executed. the only thing i really enjoy about this show these days is its ramshackle charm, how it is often barely funnier than my college's improv troupe. this is why i rarely watch it.

Even with Zach's terrible show you had the editing bit that was pretty major lolz. This episode was unfunny through and through, and worth it only for VW tunes. Wiig had some great bits, but none of them were her recurring characters.

at this point they're about the quality of the sketches from studio 60 on the sunset strip...

it seems logical to me that nbc spiked mulaney's pilot because they knew they were moving seth to fallon's spot, thus needed to promote mulaney at snl

yeah i never understood why people seem eager for Mulaney to get an on-camera gig, he doesn't really seem built for it
