no, i went cuz dudes who do the show like my twitter feed and we hung out and got drinks and they invited me.

it was actually a pretty cool event. Speeches had to be under 140 characters. Hammer showed up. Shaq cameod via video. It was done in like 90 minutes.

Yeah, I am genuinely unable to wrap my head around Twitter. Like, what sort of role does it play in people's lives? I guess I'm happy that these people no longer have a Twitter-shaped hole in their hearts, but... damn.

I suppose in it's own setting it makes about as much sense as AIM or MSN. But yeah why feed it out elsewhere? Especially to blogs.

I do mean triple! I didn't feel like correcting it.

I usually give them one listen. If I REALLY like something, I'll listen to it again to make sure I'm not tripping balls before I gush on it.

twitter makes sense when i'm drunk and on public transportation at the end of the night, wanting to catalog the weirdos around me (or in my head). i've only ever sent from text though because every time i encounter the WHAT ARE YOU DOING RIGHT NOW? screen at the computer all i can think is i am sitting at a computer, reading, and isn't that fascinating

If you've not blocked access and they go to your Twitter page, they can see everything.

I wish there was a way to follow people without their knowing that you are. And also so people can't see that you are following them.

Though I'm just saying that because of the embarrassment factor... I'm sure that people would find a way to abuse that.
