I think one of my bigger disappointments if this show doesn't live on will be the loss of my feeling of vindication at Casey Wilson getting a decent series after Lorne fired her.

started watching this with the episodes on hulu, so basically late season 3. two questions:
1. do they acknowledge that casey wilson's fiancee looks EXACTLY like young brad pitt?
2. do they acknowledge that you can't really have food trucks like that in chicago?

yep that's where suspension of disbelief fails with this show.

ha i'm not complaining, i just thought it was funny.

UK viewers: it's inexplicably disappeared but e4 say it will be back 'later this year'.. Hmph.

yeah last two were great, love this cast so much. really hope this isn't it, i was never mystified when 30 rock or even arrested development weren't hits but can't figure out for the life of me why this isn't a hit. in any case it gave casey wilson a second act and showed that go figure elisha cuthbert is more than a ridiculously pretty face. if this is it i hope cope and wayans work together again, such a great team.

the more people say that without USA or whoever actually announcing that as fact, the more anxious i get that it won't really happen

ok this show really takes off in season 2 huh. halloween episode was next-level but i also enjoyed the extended brent musburger cameo.

also have a crush on eliza coupe now even if she was in scrubs

yes, season 2 is definitely where the show jumps up a gear

I agree with everybody in this thread that I want to see Wayans Jr. and Coupe together in something else if Happy Endings is no more. They are the funnest.

weirdly Adam Pally seems to be the one sliding into the most post HE work via the Zach Galifinakis "goofy comedic sidekick" door (for example, his appearance in Iron Man 3)

I also hope all 6 of them continue to hang out and party together once the show ends

i'm sure they'll do dvd, tbh i had little hope for usa, always seemed another way of abc washing its hands of canceling a show crits loved (same w/ that 'save happy endings' campaign). at least one of the writers jumped ship (i want to say modern family but that might be just cuz i knew megan ganz left community for modern family).

yeah i feel like she has the most potential to have a nice career ahead of her. Wayans Jr. was so perfect for this show that it's almost like, you know he'll never have a better vehicle.
