Huh, I looked it up, but I have literally never heard of "Uhh Yeah Dude."

i've heard of that but not those dudes, nor have i listened to it.

Their names didn't ring bells at first either, but now I see the show title I know who they are. I listened to "Uhh Yeah Dude" a couple of times a while back but didn't find it engaging or amusing.

Is there a particular episode I should listen to? Or better, a handful? I've randomly dropped in and out a couple times but not getting the appeal.

Episode 297 had the letters from the Korean students, but perhaps you have to be a fan already to find that as funny as i did

Maron seemed unenthusiastic about the interview in the intro and outro

The Dean Delray one was very fun, sorta like Wayne's World.

on that Chick McGee podcast, when the host asked Maron if WTF was the first podcast (WTF indeed) he said that there were others before like, like Never Not Funny, but he never listened to them. In my head I heard "abrilliantdrummeriwroteallthesongs"

Playing catch-up again and was kinda dreading the Rob Schneider because I think he's pretty unfunny. He had me won over at first, he actually seemed like a decent dude, but then he had to go and keep doing his "hilarious" Chinese accent.

Seconding the Dean Delray one. Affable dude and his stories are great.

That ep totally reminded me of having a sketchy looking dude pull up next to you at the bar and you give him the side-eye like, "what is this guy's deal". Four hours later your still listening to him reel off story after story.

anyway i listened to today's show preamble about the shutdown steel works and god throwing lightning and again thinking 'THIS FUCKING GUY' and just started dreading what would happen in the UYD interview but the interview was pretty great in the end.
