Greg Turkington... I totally did not make the connection! Of course that's Neil Hamburger, right? He is so so reserved on "On Cinema, At The Cinema" I didn't even realize it.

The other day my girlfriend and I almost sat through the entire Oscar coverage by them. It's so great.

Evan, Wednesday, 3 April 2013 21:13 (thirteen years ago)

so far this movie is showing what I imagine white life is

best sex scene ever.

who is the guy with the moustache in the beginning scene with james murphy & richard swift?

that "you're gonna get a no no tip" scene with the cabbie is sort of perma-embedded in my psyche.

Did anyone else watch Time & Eric's Bedtime Stories on Halloween? It was basically split into a really dumb, Three Stooges-inspired 'haunted house' skit co-starring Zach Galifianakis, followed by a "Talking Dead"-style 'Wrap Up Show' where they discussed the previous bit. It was inspired in places. Apparently it's the pilot for a regular Twilight Zone-esque series coming next year.

i shat my pants way too hard watching this. maybe it was the big bag of unsalted peanuts but anyways : ggghosts! yikes! can't think of a hotter way to get scared.

if you like Tim and Eric for the world-class editing, don't sleep on 2 Wet Crew, which is the hot new thing amongst youths today

On Cinema is the great soap opera of our time.

Fiddle Catstro (latebloomer), Wednesday, 10 May 2017 21:25 (nine years ago)

del griffith on the fucking mark. Pound House, 2 Wet Crew, and now Doug's Bougs. This is high art. I can't get enough. Tim n Eric tends to turn my stomach after awhile. Doug's stuff enriches my dang life.

andrew m., Wednesday, 10 May 2017 22:02 (nine years ago)

I preferred season 8 of On Cinema to this season. The Storks footage plus the DKR sequence here kills me every time:

i thought season 8 was great, but so was the denouement of this season i thought, really great stuff. love this monstrous character tim has created. and the six bags cinema, food ordering before movie reviews, and truffle aioli stuff was really overdone (in that good way).

i think my favourite is still the season when tim moved to jackson hole

-_- (jim in vancouver), Wednesday, 10 May 2017 22:36 (nine years ago)

oh yeah also tim getting really mad at mark's poor serving constantly

Dean of the University (Latham Green), Thursday, 8 June 2017 18:37 (nine years ago)

nah. i asked tim about breen during his open hours once and he said he's only seen a bit of his movies!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer was filmed, for the most part, in a quonset hut at Stewart and Olympic. And it's an adventure to rig in a quonset hut.

The steak song is really the one I've been thinking about.

you mean the veal song? same.

This was pretty good. What I want more of, though, is Steve Brule. I think that's their best work by far.

Doesn't get better than this. Grade A+ TV comedy.

carpet_kaiser, Saturday, 2 September 2017 03:01 (eight years ago)

been there done that, I want more James Quall personally

del griffith, Saturday, 2 September 2017 03:04 (eight years ago)

best skit on all of awesomes shows

del griffith, Saturday, 2 September 2017 03:05 (eight years ago)

I like the weird cosmic occult horror direction they took with Brule. 2 Wet Crew gets a special shout out, too, their web shorts are like a microdose of LSD. This whole scene is my favorite thing in comedy for the past 10 years.

have been immersing ourselves in the world of tim and gregg recently. a world that reached apoetheosis in gregg's 'hey guys!' at the trial

#TeamHailing (imago), Thursday, 11 January 2018 19:16 (eight years ago)

*apotheosis

#TeamHailing (imago), Thursday, 11 January 2018 19:16 (eight years ago)

have also been mooting a tim & eric vs tim & gregg poll, with my own preference the latter

#TeamHailing (imago), Thursday, 11 January 2018 19:18 (eight years ago)

idk about this, Eric is great but I do prefer "one over-the-top weird guy and one introverted weird guy" to "two over-the-top weird guys"
