As for O'Neill - yes indeed he has a history of walking, but it's unclear as to what's actually happened there. If he walked, he's just being true to form (and I've been expecting it pretty much since he started managing Sunderland), and if he got sacked, I think it's absolutely ridiculous.

Please God let Sunderland be relegated.

sunderland is probably the club with whom our fans have the best relationship, if they get relegated we can have a big old love-in at the valley, maybe they could score three goals for us again <3
