I'm jumping for joy over here b/c it's supposed to be 50-60 for the next four days. Four days!!! No gloves! A jacket!!

I can go with jacket. Still prob medium coat weather for me. It takes a month or so to shake of the residual winter bone chill.

Yeah I'll still be wearing a hat. Also I guess high temp today is 42, which is nice but not what I thought. I want it to be warm enough to smell the mud.

I will probably keep wearing my hat until it is 70.

I am getting tired of wearing boots.

I went for a walk on Monday, it was almost warm enough.

I don't mind walking in the cold -- it's has its unique charms, but I love walking in general -- but I am DEF tired of boots. I've already busted out the sneakers (for walking).
Today seems like a mighty fine day for a walk, actually.

I forgot to mention that I saw several falling snowflakes on Monday, but I'm convinced it was just a lighthearted joke from nature.

APRIL!

Is it always this windy in the spring? I feel like I would have noticed it in the 10 years I've lived in Brooklyn but this year it seems especially cruel that the sun shines and the "temperature" is like 55 but HAHAHAHA NO ACTUALLY THERE IS BITTER WIND FREEZING YOU.

My eyes keep watering so bad from all the wind.

I know! Maybe I just really want to go for a bike ride where my ears and face don't freeze.

The wind is my enemy. I think it actually goes through my body and I do not appreciate that.

I want more April showers! We had some impressive straight-line winds ahead of the front that blew through here last night... popped my balcony door open and then slammed it shut. Guess it wasn't latched.
