Ismael Klata, Sunday, 10 March 2013 17:54 (thirteen years ago)

That was just ridiculous and stupid.

Matt DC, Sunday, 10 March 2013 17:54 (thirteen years ago)

SIXTH PLACE HERE WE COME

Tioc Norris (LocalGarda), Sunday, 10 March 2013 17:54 (thirteen years ago)

Vertonghen transfer request before 7pm

amen madchick (darraghmac), Sunday, 10 March 2013 17:54 (thirteen years ago)

Good to see Suarez refusing to lower himself to chat with the nasty Scott Parker.

Tioc Norris (LocalGarda), Sunday, 10 March 2013 17:54 (thirteen years ago)

Cant argue with a loss there tbh, but jesus the manner of it. Elevator cable just snapped.

amen madchick (darraghmac), Sunday, 10 March 2013 17:56 (thirteen years ago)

Spurs defence 4 suarez 1

amen madchick (darraghmac), Sunday, 10 March 2013 18:07 (thirteen years ago)

A discouraging win imo. I'll take it mind you.

Ismael Klata, Monday, 11 March 2013 09:36 (thirteen years ago)

McDermout

am a big fan ay Nani (onimo), Monday, 11 March 2013 17:42 (thirteen years ago)

Aw, poor Macca.

Tim, Monday, 11 March 2013 17:49 (thirteen years ago)

Nonsense

darrrrggghhh daylight savings (darraghmac), Monday, 11 March 2013 18:00 (thirteen years ago)

di canio was at the madejski on saturday supposedly

r|t|c, Monday, 11 March 2013 18:05 (thirteen years ago)

i was gonna say this is a bit of a bullshit sacking but if it brings Paolo into the Prem then who cares?

silly word combination (Noodle Vague), Monday, 11 March 2013 18:07 (thirteen years ago)

surprising but fairer than it was for adkins (another candidate), they are looking goners right now with a nasty run coming up

paolo might supercharge some bullshit miracle run, who knows

mcdermott probably would have taken them back up next season but otherwise what would else would you have had confidence in him for

just glad i dont have to see his ghoulish visage any longer tbh

r|t|c, Monday, 11 March 2013 18:10 (thirteen years ago)

yeah i'd've been ok with him being sacked at the beginning of Jan or at the end of the season but this time of year always feels like a desperate dice-throw by a board too tight to financially back a manager and too clueless to look at growth over a slightly longer time-frame. nobody owes anybody anything i guess but set some targets and follow them thru is my feeling.

silly word combination (Noodle Vague), Monday, 11 March 2013 18:13 (thirteen years ago)

Adkins keeping them up over Saints wd be juicy

silly word combination (Noodle Vague), Monday, 11 March 2013 18:15 (thirteen years ago)

can go back to his job as a slightly sinister lollypop man now.

So: The Answers (or something), Monday, 11 March 2013 18:25 (thirteen years ago)

Allowing Ian Harte to do whiskey chasers at half time on Saturday and then sending him out for the 2nd half was a sackable offence imo

pandemic, Monday, 11 March 2013 18:57 (thirteen years ago)

I've really only just got over Macca being the same Macca we loved so much when he looked like this:

http://www.arsenal.com/assets/_files/images/jan_10/gun__1263545032_mcdermott_brian.jpg

He was really good for us.

Tim, Monday, 11 March 2013 18:58 (thirteen years ago)

I won't claim to understand McDermott repeatedly benching Adam Le Fondre in the middle of his purple patch but only idiotic clubs sack the manager when threatened with relegation at this stage of the season. Good news for QPR I suppose.

Matt DC, Monday, 11 March 2013 19:35 (thirteen years ago)

alf is a deeply misleading player, upwards of league 2 the uncanny supersub knack is all he's capable of

would say everyone at qpr is now mildly more wary of the possible dead cat bounce than they ever were of mcdermott's prowess

r|t|c, Tuesday, 12 March 2013 00:41 (thirteen years ago)

old look mcdermott was mildly dashing. but i'm glad he's gone cuz i've never really come to terms with just how hairless he now is.

hot young stalin (Merdeyeux), Tuesday, 12 March 2013 00:45 (thirteen years ago)

Spirit of Shankly said: "In the midst of austerity, with redundancies and cutbacks a daily reality for many supporters, these inflation-busting price rises are an insult to long-standing supporters who have already suffered a massive 716% price rise since 1989."

r|t|c, Tuesday, 12 March 2013 00:47 (thirteen years ago)

i can't even be bothered to tap that in, it's too easy

r|t|c, Tuesday, 12 March 2013 00:48 (thirteen years ago)

Fing about yr dead cat bounce is the ex feline in q has to start with a modicum of yr potential energy, reading aren't gonna bounce from the current position, so what yr referring to rly is a 'dead cat jump' which is not a phenomenon widely observed in the cat, stocks nor football worlds

latest worst poster (darraghmac), Tuesday, 12 March 2013 00:49 (thirteen years ago)

Xp look its not fair to whack even lfc supporters with those sos clowns

latest worst poster (darraghmac), Tuesday, 12 March 2013 00:50 (thirteen years ago)

no sos, no rawk, who's left

r|t|c, Tuesday, 12 March 2013 00:53 (thirteen years ago)

Perhaps 'the raising of the dead cat' is more applicable

the company of wome (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Tuesday, 12 March 2013 08:12 (thirteen years ago)

i actually dreamt rangers won 6-0 today, how sad is that

r|t|c, Saturday, 16 March 2013 10:23 (thirteen years ago)

no scrappy 2-1s for this inner child in qpr pyjamas and bed set tyvm

r|t|c, Saturday, 16 March 2013 10:25 (thirteen years ago)

aww

Ismael Klata, Saturday, 16 March 2013 10:34 (thirteen years ago)

Wenger said: "They do well together - it is true, but I can't see any obvious reason why Per and Vermaelen should not do well together.

"Also in some big games, I have played Vermaelen and Koscielny together.

"You think that should work as well because they are two good football players, one is right-footed and one is left-footed, they compliment each other well.

"However, sometimes there are mysteries in our game that are difficult to rationalise."

I believe in the unknown quantity of this group

mister borges (darraghmac), Saturday, 16 March 2013 10:59 (thirteen years ago)

QPR were a very tempting 9/4 to beat Villa so I hope your dreams come true r|t|c.

Habemus mundissimo ostentus nomen (onimo), Saturday, 16 March 2013 11:18 (thirteen years ago)

I hope the lads are feeling more confident than I am today. Too much potential for Loic Remy to punish our inevitable defensive blunders / Chrissy Samba maybe one of the few bigs around who could feasibly go toe-to-toe with CB and not get rattled. Still, we've not been in terrible form recently, might have a little flutter regardless

Windsor Davies, Saturday, 16 March 2013 13:31 (thirteen years ago)

potential for u lot too tbf

might rather mbia stuck to benteke and keep big chrissy alert to gabby and weimann buzzing around. park should be able to annoy westwood out the game but i'm wary of a sylla long range effort for some reason

what we don't really wanna do is focus on getting it up to bobby z imo, get it wide quickly and attack the fullbacks instead

would also like us just to ignore the occasion and chill out first half hour at least, calm the game down and wait for youse to start beating yourselves

r|t|c, Saturday, 16 March 2013 14:03 (thirteen years ago)

<3! The ultralate second breakaway goal is the finest thing in football.

Ismael Klata, Saturday, 16 March 2013 14:37 (thirteen years ago)

Massive kudos for taking it on at all tbh, no true mensch gets involved in any taking it to the corner bollocks.

Ismael Klata, Saturday, 16 March 2013 14:39 (thirteen years ago)

blargh arry dropping hoilett for jenas

r|t|c, Saturday, 16 March 2013 15:06 (thirteen years ago)

southampton are *merking* liverpool

c'est magnifique, mais ce n'est pas le beurre (imago), Saturday, 16 March 2013 15:10 (thirteen years ago)

Refs are trying to screw Villa here. No back pass called, no offsides called. Buncha bull.

EZ Snappin, Saturday, 16 March 2013 15:11 (thirteen years ago)

not feeling this one bit, couple of good efforts but otherwise basically everything i didnt wanna be seeing us doing

be a miracle if we hold out til the hour mark before some corrective subs happen

r|t|c, Saturday, 16 March 2013 15:18 (thirteen years ago)

Oh good thing I put this game on today.

lets just remember to blame the patriarchy for (in orbit), Saturday, 16 March 2013 15:19 (thirteen years ago)
