Your Boring Saturday Night

Stayed in and watched 'Blood On Satan's Claw' (v.good!) then fell asleep. Gah.

Last night I ate roast chicken, drank ONE glass of wine, watched Strictly Come Dancing, Californication and a terrible Jackie Chan movie (The Medallion) and drank nothing stronger than a cup of coffee after 8 o'clock.

went to a party and played singstar!

have a cold. too tired to do work or stay up for a satisfying victory lane. had some woodford reserve and read about science.

I had plans, but I wound up just sitting around. I watched the Guardian, which was horrible. What is Kevin Costner's obsession with playing a character that is or becomes a "legend" of some sort?

Watched Nip/Tuck on DVD, fell asleep, woke up twice to feed baby (1:30 am and 4:30 am),... Woke up with a faux hangover.

I suspect this will be the same in a few weeks time. OH DEAR LORD WHAT HAVE I GOTTEN MYSELF INTO!

so i have to admit, the 1st half of my saturday was awesome. i saw matmos be grebt and had drinks with noisers, but then i tried to go to black dice and when i was half a subway stop away, it sold out! now everyone is there and i am stuck home with nothing to do. boooooooo!

I'm listening to Autechre's radio stream special theyre doing. Its been going for 10 hours so far and it is freaking awesome.

Its not Saturday night here though, I'm in the future.

i know, it was awesome to see matmos (although i couldn't actually see them bc it was very crowded, but even listening live was awesome).

i am just feeling down because i feel like 85% of people i know are totally flaking lately and then i missed this by like 5 minutes.

I want to go dancing, but all the clubsa re having "the best hip hop / house / techno" nights. Fuckers.

eh it was ok? a couple of really good friends were there one of whom goes to law school. the other one was the object of an amazing lesbian pick up move. srsly i was way impressed. i didnt know girls rolled like that.

it was literally like one second hey you want to check out the porch the next second hand on ass like 20 minutes later they were in a room having private time. my hat off to you lady! also she was hot. so there.

sitting at home trying desperately to get motivated to research/write paper and do 1000 other homeworky things but i can't get into it. HALP!

I can't drink because my mom thinks I'm an alcoholic. Also, a painting fell of the wall onto my head. My mom came into my bedroom (without knocking; I had my headphones on and scared the shit out of me -- thanks for the privacy!) and informed me that it happened to my grandma too and she wasn't planning on moving it to somewhere it won't fall. Thanks a lot.

i am watching movies on my laptop becz kid somehow broke the dvd player in his obsessive eagerness to watch happy feet for the 75th time. i am also drinking wine. nothing has fallen on my head, so i guess i can't complain.
