!!!!!hell yes it's march!!!!

early to mid spring here is harsh and schizo. the air is cold and the sun is glaring. you're grateful for the extra 10-15 degrees F but it's still a little unpleasant, it's dry and dirty, everything is still dead, the sun feels pissed somehow. our last snowstorm usually isn't until may. around then it starts to soften up a little and there you are in early summer. spring is like all the coughing and drainage of congestion you have to go through before you finally kick a cold.

traditionally i didnt really like march that much, apart from negative definition wrt february but i am beginning to like march on its own terms

19 here. march refuses to stop being cold. i always get older in march. in less than a week, in fact; i have no idea what i'm doing to celebrate. it feels strange to anticipate spring break and turning 32 at the same time! like... "i'm 40 today...and i'm getting my braces off!"

oh it's a high of 32 here, too...it's not sooo bad.

i always drag my feet through march but there's always that layer of anticipation underneath the surface that makes it sort of great

i kinda relaxed into a trance while waiting for the metra and listening to basic channel y'day — everything was white and the visibility was so low you couldn't see the train until it was right in front of you.

The air felt very temperate while I was walking the dogs this morning, and it was only 26. The snow will be gone in no time. Honestly, the first 70 is great, but the first 50 is comparatively more exhilarating.

Been riding my bike to as many things as I can justify, lately. Tonight was maybe a little too cold for it but luckily my subcutaneous fat protects me as does the alcohol content of my blood.

Stupid wintery mix today. 14 out of 17 days in March have been below average temp and it is forecasted that the next 14 days will be below average as well. 10" of snow this March, a third of what we've received all winter. Worst fucking March ever.

It has been a bit of a bummer, I'll agree. These ice balls falling from the sky are definitely not what I ordered.
