Wedding episode was sweet. Didn't realize there were so many series callbacks to earlier Ben/Leslie moments:

that was so great

Yeah all it needed was Blue Beetle going "One punch! One punch!!!"
― harvester of lols (Drugs A. Money), Sunday, 24 February 2013 05:40 (thirteen years ago)
Also the little gestures April & Andy did when Leslie threw the "tea" in the trashcan = perfect
― harvester of lols (Drugs A. Money), Sunday, 24 February 2013 06:16 (thirteen years ago)
Everything about that episode was wonderful. So many great little details, like Tom being revealed as having girl's handwriting, and the fact that you apparently need a license to impersonate Lil Sebastian in Pawnee.
The exchange about Leslie taking Ben's name was fantastic, like this show is completely masterful in its characterisation by this point.
― Matt DC, Sunday, 24 February 2013 14:35 (thirteen years ago)
The wedding episode was a little saccharine for me, but the one after was great. We kept replaying Chris's "hilarious!" after Anne's awkward furry toes joke.
― Chuck_Tatum, Sunday, 24 February 2013 14:36 (thirteen years ago)
I loved both. This show is so so on right now. The thing about Tom's speech beginning with 20 minutes of Hitch quotes

I love Jason Mantzoukas, his delivery of that and "Stupid foxes!" was great.

They really should have made more out of the animal rescue guys before they fired them.

they could always pop up again, sewage joe has shown up a couple of times after getting fired.

Believe it or not, that was the 4th episode for Colton Dunn (Brett) and the 5th for Harris Wittels (Harris). (Harris is also a writer on the show.) Their first episode together was "The Possum" in season 2.
― jaymc, Tuesday, 16 April 2013 16:35 (thirteen years ago)
Colton Dunn KILLED it in that episode. "there are 4 ways to skin a cat" or whatever...
― dan selzer, Tuesday, 16 April 2013 17:52 (thirteen years ago)
love when Harris Wittels and Adam Scott do their lumber yard improv on Comedy Bang Bang

This was a good one--for some reason "nobody needs to get Jammed today" really got me
― "Turkey In The Straw" coming from someplace in the clouds (Sparkle Motion), Tuesday, 16 April 2013 19:04 (thirteen years ago)
I hated Jamm at the start of the season but I love him now. I love that his adherence to the concept of "Jammed" goes beyond even himself, like when he had to drop that lawsuit against Ron and he told his lawyers "We've been Jammed."
― a sentimental knife (reddening), Tuesday, 16 April 2013 19:56 (thirteen years ago)
also loved him "retro-Jamm" All the other council members are so delightfully one note that I don't mind the same joke over and over--Councilman Dexhart etc.
― "Turkey In The Straw" coming from someplace in the clouds (Sparkle Motion), Tuesday, 16 April 2013 20:05 (thirteen years ago)
and Harris' last two appearances have been non-Animal-Control-related, just as a Pawnee citizen
― Devendra Bumhat (sic), Tuesday, 16 April 2013 22:29 (thirteen years ago)
April's line to Jamm about training a crow to fly up his butt made me lololol

I could've sworn in a recent episode Ron mentioned in passing that he and Diane had broken up. But now they're back together?
― jaymc, Wednesday, 17 April 2013 15:36 (thirteen years ago)
they never broke up

Article 2, first of the two shown last night, was so great! Patton Oswalt was amazing.
― the girl from spirea x (f. hazel), Friday, 19 April 2013 20:31 (thirteen years ago)
Isn't it established that Gerry's actual name is Gary, but they call him Gerry in the office because no one ever bothered to get it right? I might be wrong, but I could swear Gayle called him Gerry at least once during the breakfast scene.
― Johnny Fever, Friday, 19 April 2013 20:36 (thirteen years ago)
I'd offer some quotes, but it seems like it was all in the delivery this ep.
― the girl from spirea x (f. hazel), Friday, 19 April 2013 20:43 (thirteen years ago)
Lesson: if you want a girl to make out with you, tell her you'd planned some macaroni & cheese pizza for the evening.

the gerry ep was great- the other one was pretty decent too. The show's doing pretty well for being deep into its run. I'm wondering if they're planning on wrapping it up soon though.
