OK, Zing update is going live now. Just a smallish one this:

- Support for iPhone 5
- YouTube videos work on iOS 6
- Doesn't crash when Tim's on the bus
- Scrolls to newest bookmark more betterer

Known issue:
- Post editor is portrait-only. Fixing that.

zing has been completely sucking for me for nearly three weeks. maybe 70% of the time threads don't load at all. reinstalling twice has made no difference. i cannot work out what is causing this.

Are you still using the version I sent you? It will be logging a lot of info to the system log, which apps like Console can read. Might give you a clue.

new update is great except for the fact that now youtube embeds have muted audio if the device's mute switch is on, which should make sense except that on almost all other apps that use youtube the opposite is true

i deleted and reinstalled that one, then deleted and reinstalled the full release just this week. i'll have a look at the console thing in the morning.

je55e: your thing happens to me occasionally (and only started recently), but flipping the phone sideways and back fixes it

I will try flipping it. I can't remember if I said so already, but refreshing does the trick.

Any idea what an NSUrlError Domain Error -999 is? I usually get lots of them one after the other when loading a web link in the app. I'm using a lol3GS if that makes a diff..

Yeah, I keep forgetting about that. It's an error thrown by the webview when the page asks for permission to redirect to another domain and I don't tell it whether that's OK. I'll get it fixed.
