there are different levels of camping! I wouldn't mind doing what these guys did, but it's about a half-step more roughing it than the people who have a RV and bring along their ATV to screw around with during the day. Not like they carried their gear and food on their motorcycles or anything.

the thing about ACL is that dude gets paid big money and gets sent on exclusive manly "experiences" so he can write advertorial reviews of their products -- i mean, the thing he tweeted right before the gawker article was a link to his blog post where BMW sent him to wyoming so he could test drive a car in the snow, with professional photography. so for him to play that game and turn around and exclaim america's imminent downfall over the "mormonism and the art of motorcycle craftsmanship" or whatever it is? it's really just too much, too too much. the major difference is that they're paying for the privilege and he'd getting paid.
