oh, nicely done

you know, this is going to be a weird complaint, but the more I think about it I am bothered by the VC douchebag character, because a show by and about born-rich girls chooses to make its (only?) self-made character an unsympathetic and unbelieveable cartoon of an asshole who does all kind of gauche things like get upset about his $10,000 rug. Not that there aren't guys like that in the world, it just kind of bothers me that so far people whose parents give them money are all wonderful, complex human beings and the guy who worked hard for it (albeit in a probably horrible way) is a two-dimensional moron.

the thing is though, plenty of people who worked hard for their money are two-dimensional morons

tbf the trustafarians are not that complex, tho i havent seen the vc ep

No doubt there is a pecking order among the born-rich. Also why do you think the guy 'worked hard for it'? Maybe he was born into a VC career.

I mean that scene with the abandoned menage a trois maybe after they left he called his parents and cried and they said don't worry about it i'll wire you the 5 million you asked for last week i'm proud of you for working so hard.

I enjoy it for the most part, but it took me a long time to settle into it

ha actually the only way i can get through those type of shows is with other people
