When you think of the hours, the sweat, the grit, the fights and the cajoling required to make a film, any film, no-one does this would doesn't essetially think that the movie is irredeemable.

i dont think it implies that schrader or ellis are broke, just that their careers have seen better days

the whole thing's just way too good to be true. it'd make an awesome movie, with schrader lohan et al playing themselves. i knew i was in for a treat when i got to this part:

lol yes the Jareds thing was great. Also, Jared Harris came up in irl conversation earlier this morning and it made me think of this.

the part about the other actors being able to see her script with their names crossed out and other actors' names written in was also great
