scott and lurker are on the right track, i think. i'm guessing he fucking blew an edgy routine, and ended up looking like a total racist/asshole. as to whether or not he's an actual racist: i don't really care. in this context, he is. when he's buying groceries or taking a shit, who knows? even if he is a drooling racist, the crackpot theories of washed-up comedians aren't that important to me. as long as he isn't out there preaching hate or perpetrating violence, let him stew in whatever garbage he's got in his head. if he isn't a racist, great, one down.

thing is, if he apologizes publicly, will he resort to the gibson defense (WASTED!), or will he just fess up to bad comedy? something about the latter option is 1000x more sad and pathetic than the former.

xp I seriously wonder if people who say that honestly believe that the middle-aged woman in the next cubicle at work seriously goes home to her kids and says "what's up, my niggas, we're having Applebee's tonight!"
