trash night is a movie night some friends of mine do once a month at the somerville theater featuring a shitty movie (straight-to-vhs action movies mostly) and a bunch of interstitial clips/found footage (the night usually ends at rosebud karaoke is why i was curious)

who has a baby shower on a Saturday night?

I saw this this morning on the news. You know those kids I worked with in Chelsea a few years back? All of their baby showers were at night and in the club. Apparently this isn't an uncommon thing and baby showers are huge blowout dance parties in some circles. I was always sorta pissed I never got invited to one of that kind tbh.

is the idea to have the baby during the shower, then throw gifts at it

yeah, walk over the bridge, walk straight up jfk, and look for it on the right

pretty much; when leaving the HBS campus, turn right on JFK and cross the river into Harvard Square and Shay's will be on the right once you pass the brick Harvard dorms (also on the right), I believe almost directly across the street from Wagamama
