"he could've killed the lad"

do I hear 51, 51, 51... I'll give you 51, 51, 51 (cozen), Sunday, 23 December 2012 15:58 (thirteen years ago)

says manager of Paul Scholes

Captain Humberbantz (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 23 December 2012 15:58 (thirteen years ago)

why do chelsea cross the pitch and do the pre-match stuff on the opposite side to where they come out?

Chris, Sunday, 23 December 2012 16:01 (thirteen years ago)

the sheer outrage that Scholes inspires in you guys is quite amusing

Number None, Sunday, 23 December 2012 16:01 (thirteen years ago)

wow, torres actually did something good

do I hear 51, 51, 51... I'll give you 51, 51, 51 (cozen), Sunday, 23 December 2012 16:03 (thirteen years ago)

it's not outrage, it's just that for all his gifts he's a dirty cunt and Ferguson shd shut the fuck up about other players' misdemeanours

Captain Humberbantz (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 23 December 2012 16:03 (thirteen years ago)

if you applied that rule to everyone managers could never complain about anything. It was a pretty scummy thing to do

Number None, Sunday, 23 December 2012 16:05 (thirteen years ago)

wd've expected a more stoic and measured condemnation from the red-nosed bleating emo git

Captain Humberbantz (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 23 December 2012 16:08 (thirteen years ago)

wait who couldve killed who? scholes on yerman or young's clearance inadvertently hitting rvp on the head, where he usually heads the ball?

banlieue jagger (darraghmac), Sunday, 23 December 2012 16:16 (thirteen years ago)

fuck that shit, Dean Winstanley's just thrown a nine-darter in the World Championship

Captain Humberbantz (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 23 December 2012 16:19 (thirteen years ago)

some hit son

Number None, Sunday, 23 December 2012 16:30 (thirteen years ago)

boss juninhoish technique

things that are jokes pretty much (Nilmar Honorato da Silva), Sunday, 23 December 2012 16:31 (thirteen years ago)

wow, torres actually did something good

He's actually scoring pretty regularly now, something like 14 goals this season, and the narrative around him still seems to be that he's failing. He's probably never going to be the player he was at Liverpool but the Chelsea fans I know still fucking hate him.

Contrast with Aguero who really has dipped in form without anyone really noticing.

Matt DC, Sunday, 23 December 2012 17:33 (thirteen years ago)

there's just something very annoying about Torres

Number None, Sunday, 23 December 2012 17:36 (thirteen years ago)

This is a proper cunting now.

Matt DC, Sunday, 23 December 2012 17:38 (thirteen years ago)

falcao is perhaps too good for chelsea now and perez will go all out to sign him, so torres could be around for a bit longer

abramovich would probably be happy with torres getting 25 goals this season and looking like a merely disappointing signing rather than a laughable one, before getting rid of him

things that are jokes pretty much (Nilmar Honorato da Silva), Sunday, 23 December 2012 17:40 (thirteen years ago)

Rafa out

ばかザッピ (zappi), Sunday, 23 December 2012 17:42 (thirteen years ago)

Zounds. Thanks a bunch villa for turning it on at Anfield.

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 23 December 2012 17:45 (thirteen years ago)

bollox, lfc are just this much worse than a decent chelsea tbh

banlieue jagger (darraghmac), Sunday, 23 December 2012 17:47 (thirteen years ago)

EZ Snappin, Sunday, 23 December 2012 17:47 (thirteen years ago)

banlieue jagger (darraghmac), Sunday, 23 December 2012 17:48 (thirteen years ago)

both ramires's have been cracking tbh

banlieue jagger (darraghmac), Sunday, 23 December 2012 17:48 (thirteen years ago)

no on replay goalie's not been great

he's been at fault for more of these today than anyone is going to say

banlieue jagger (darraghmac), Sunday, 23 December 2012 17:48 (thirteen years ago)

They'd better not get a fucking ninth. That's for proper clubs only.

Matt DC, Sunday, 23 December 2012 17:49 (thirteen years ago)

Moving David Luiz into central midfield would be considered a masterstroke except for the fact that everyone in the world could see that's what needed to be done except any of his previous managers.

Matt DC, Sunday, 23 December 2012 17:52 (thirteen years ago)

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has admitted that he has a "great dilemma" when centre-back Ron Vlaar returns from injury.

The Dutch international will miss Villa's match at Chelsea on Sunday as he continues to recover from a calf injury, but when he does return, Lambert has revealed that he may have to bide his time on the substitutes' bench.

Lambert told the Birmingham Mail: "When he's fit again it's a great dilemma to have. The three lads at the back at the minute are playing exceptionally well. That is the bottom line.

Guaranteed 1-0 victory against Spurs on Boxing Day.

Matt DC, Sunday, 23 December 2012 17:58 (thirteen years ago)

torres has been shinning them in, his touch is woeful and all round he's not looked all that much like an actual footballer. he's only had one concerted spell of 2-3 games for chelsea (last season) where he's looked like much cop and that was spent mostly out wide slinging in crosses. his golden boot & and 14 (?) goals this season are, as jonawils put it, a piece of 'high concept satire'

otoh today's was a genuinely top class goal

do I hear 51, 51, 51... I'll give you 51, 51, 51 (cozen), Sunday, 23 December 2012 18:30 (thirteen years ago)

think mancini's jiggerypokery w/balotelli, dzeko and tevez has distracted from aguero's lack of goalscoring; besides he's been playing reasonably well from what I've seen of him

do I hear 51, 51, 51... I'll give you 51, 51, 51 (cozen), Sunday, 23 December 2012 18:31 (thirteen years ago)

"Robin van Persie is lucky to be alive … Robin could have had a broken neck."

If Michu scores on boxing day he should unveil a 'pray 4 Robin' t-shirt

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 23 December 2012 19:56 (thirteen years ago)

YES

banlieue jagger (darraghmac), Sunday, 23 December 2012 20:22 (thirteen years ago)

banlieue jagger (darraghmac), Sunday, 23 December 2012 23:09 (thirteen years ago)
