Africa's a pretty well-known brand already, you've got wonder how much value this deal adds

Ismael Klata, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:32 (thirteen years ago)

Could say the same about Asia I guess. And indeed Air.

Ismael Klata, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:34 (thirteen years ago)

Go Villa!

EZ Snappin, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:37 (thirteen years ago)

how many times will martin o'neill make eye contact in the postgame interview

Nilmar Honorato da Silva, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:40 (thirteen years ago)

Alright Ray?

Ismael Klata, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:41 (thirteen years ago)

'nother Honduran heading to England: http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/article/2012/11/26/sportings-espinoza-seems-set-winter-switch-wigan

Good player, though a tad card-prone.

dansplaining (dan m), Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:43 (thirteen years ago)

Also, is Wigan just the default club for Hondurans these days? Seems like they've had several.

dansplaining (dan m), Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:43 (thirteen years ago)

wigan seems to be the only club in england who bothers to do much scouting in south/ central america. tottenham had a honduran striker on trial a couple of years ago but he ended up somewhere in spain.

mizzell, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:50 (thirteen years ago)

tough to get work permits though isn't it?

Number None, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:56 (thirteen years ago)

Arsene needs a proofreader

Number None, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 01:01 (thirteen years ago)

'arsenal contact centre'

Nilmar Honorato da Silva, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 01:03 (thirteen years ago)

going to guess that they don't solicit mail from creditors at that address

Nilmar Honorato da Silva, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 01:04 (thirteen years ago)

All Ireland In Ireland.

Isn't that Sinn Fein slogan?

studge_siren.gif (onimo), Wednesday, 28 November 2012 11:44 (thirteen years ago)

not as bearla that i recognise

bill paxman (darraghmac), Wednesday, 28 November 2012 12:32 (thirteen years ago)

Theo out - of the official Arsenal 2013 calendar. As is Sagna°. Same happened to van Persie last year, and Fabregas the year before.

° Wenger still hopes to keep both players and Arsenal can point out that they have appeared on some other club merchandise for 2013 including, it is understood, a desk calendar and diary.

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 13:48 (thirteen years ago)

jesus, looks serious

bill paxman (darraghmac), Wednesday, 28 November 2012 13:50 (thirteen years ago)

But he's not on the mouse mat and they've withdrawn all the pens where the tiny Theo Walcott moves up and down when you turn it upside down.

Matt DC, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 13:51 (thirteen years ago)

are we in a position to confirm whether he's on any pencilcases at this time?

bill paxman (darraghmac), Wednesday, 28 November 2012 13:51 (thirteen years ago)

Also, is Wigan just the default club for Hondurans these days? Seems like they've had several.

Celtic has Izaguirre. I can see him ending up at Wigan mind you.

There's also Honduran "pitbull" Jorge Claros is at Hibs.

studge_siren.gif (onimo), Wednesday, 28 November 2012 14:00 (thirteen years ago)

Claros was shot in the head on 16 June 2011 after car thieves failed to steal his vehicle.

Shot in the fucking head. Didn't even take a knee.

studge_siren.gif (onimo), Wednesday, 28 November 2012 14:00 (thirteen years ago)

Puts Derek Riordan's antics into some perspective

Named locally as Tom D (Tom D.), Wednesday, 28 November 2012 14:01 (thirteen years ago)

Would put Stuart Pearce to shame: "Claros was able to drive himself to a hospital after the attack."

Dembele back tonight then?

Number None, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 14:56 (thirteen years ago)

For the love of god please.

Matt DC, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 15:00 (thirteen years ago)

dempsey proper good v west ham

bill paxman (darraghmac), Wednesday, 28 November 2012 15:03 (thirteen years ago)

That punch in the face clearly did its job.

Matt DC, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 15:08 (thirteen years ago)

I've mostly stopped looking forward to this fixture, but I reckon tonight could make for a cracking watch.

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 15:34 (thirteen years ago)

spurs by two, comfortably

bill paxman (darraghmac), Wednesday, 28 November 2012 15:57 (thirteen years ago)

I hate it when Darragh's confident. We always fuck up when he's confident.

Matt DC, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 15:58 (thirteen years ago)

Liverpool 1-0 by an early Suarez peach, then strangling Spurs for most of the game, before hanging on grimly because there's nobody to score the second.

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 16:06 (thirteen years ago)

matt sadly otm

bill paxman (darraghmac), Wednesday, 28 November 2012 16:11 (thirteen years ago)

confidently predicting a 3-2 to someone

studge_siren.gif (onimo), Wednesday, 28 November 2012 16:16 (thirteen years ago)

Lloris, Walker, Dawson, Gallas, Vertonghen, Sandro, Dembele, Lennon, Dempsey, Bale & Defoe

Reina, Johnson, Agger, Skrtel, Downing, Allen, Gerrard, Hendersn, Sterling, Enrique, Suarez

Caulker must have picked up an injury. Gallas and Dawson v Suarez is potenitally a mess.

mizzell, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 19:18 (thirteen years ago)

couldn't dembele have delayed his return to the weekend? Inconsiderate ass.
lennon vs downing could be fun, as could sterling vs vertonghen

pandemic, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 19:24 (thirteen years ago)

*shakes hands with matt and mizzell, snubs darragh*

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 19:34 (thirteen years ago)

did he sleep with your ex-girlfriend?

pandemic, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 19:40 (thirteen years ago)

walcott scores in the first minute

mizzell, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 19:47 (thirteen years ago)

Bunn looks as nervous in the Norwich sticks as I do any time the ball goes near him. Going to be a long 3 months.

CraigG, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 19:52 (thirteen years ago)

Darragh's praise not the curse it was made out to be, so far. And at least we're not looking like having as fucking mundane a night of tblitw as last night/Sunday

CraigG, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 19:57 (thirteen years ago)

dissed Rafa xps

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 19:58 (thirteen years ago)

I only caught a minute of this so far but it looks like AVB has got our number

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 20:11 (thirteen years ago)

yes i couldnt help noticing spurs were two up

r|t|c, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 20:12 (thirteen years ago)

Haven't seen the goals but assume they were bad luck/shocking refereeing. The swamping of Joe Allen that I did see was callous though.

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 20:14 (thirteen years ago)

bale's freekick: brilliant or deflected?

mizzell, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 20:16 (thirteen years ago)

Gah. Calamitous defending and Norwich are the worst out of two pretty poor teams. Probably switch to another game soon (though don't think I fancy the Man City game that's actually on Sky)

CraigG, Wednesday, 28 November 2012 20:21 (thirteen years ago)

ffs
