xpost Before his imprisonment, I was presenting a radio show on which Rob Shepherd was a guest.

In a commercial break he turned to me and said: "I'm worried my son's gay. I've been trying to get him to come to York Hall to watch the fights, but he doesn't want to."

"How old is he, Rob?"

"He's eight."

"I don't think not liking boxing at eight is a sign of homosexuality, Rob."

This must be the most interesting game of the season so far? And I'm including Dortmund v Real in that.

Ismael Klata, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 19:54 (thirteen years ago)

uh... what are you watching?

r|t|c, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 20:03 (thirteen years ago)

I was talking in the abstract. Thanks 7.45 kickoff for making me look stupid.

Ismael Klata, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 20:06 (thirteen years ago)

thought u meant rangers sunderland, u look even madder now

r|t|c, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 20:08 (thirteen years ago)

the Villa v. Reading game is exciting so far.

EZ Snappin, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 20:10 (thirteen years ago)

Shane Breen is a gigantic tool (Noodle Vague), Tuesday, 27 November 2012 20:14 (thirteen years ago)

what exactly is going on with lambert and bent?

mizzell, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 20:16 (thirteen years ago)

we look alright, pretty chilled out, much less of a bombscare

sunderland are such garbage though

didnt expect this side at all after saturday's old boys reunion, it's p much what hughes would have put out. flooding the midfield makes sense i guess (cattermole off too) but cisse's too isolated and mackie's wasted deeper not harrying anyone

r|t|c, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 20:18 (thirteen years ago)

hate to be the one to break it to you but... keogh's scored four, unlucky noodles

r|t|c, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 20:21 (thirteen years ago)

nah i'm on the Graun now 0-0 bet it's a classic

Shane Breen is a gigantic tool (Noodle Vague), Tuesday, 27 November 2012 20:26 (thirteen years ago)

Sessegnon is the only player with a hint of quality in that Sunderland side at the moment

Number None, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 20:31 (thirteen years ago)

ooh blimey rob green's on...

r|t|c, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 20:49 (thirteen years ago)

Number None, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:11 (thirteen years ago)

overt gingerness i assumed

r|t|c, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:13 (thirteen years ago)

can't remember who it was, but someone got all indignant when i suggested that Sunderland was about Adam Johnson's level. I may have overestimated him

Number None, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:14 (thirteen years ago)

johnson is a good player, not good enough to start for city but certainly for sunderland

Nilmar Honorato da Silva, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:16 (thirteen years ago)

sunderland are just completely dysfunctional

Nilmar Honorato da Silva, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:16 (thirteen years ago)

johnson by far the worst player on the pitch tonight

r|t|c, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:17 (thirteen years ago)

but maybe not this Sunderland xpost

Number None, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:17 (thirteen years ago)

come on harry, got to find a way to push mackie up now

especially since he's apparently unbookable

r|t|c, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:18 (thirteen years ago)

im only half watching this with waldemar januszczak on bbc4 but this is pretty exceptionally shit right

Nilmar Honorato da Silva, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:20 (thirteen years ago)

r|t|c, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:21 (thirteen years ago)

Ismael Klata, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:21 (thirteen years ago)

r|t|c, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:23 (thirteen years ago)

Ismael Klata, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:23 (thirteen years ago)

Nilmar Honorato da Silva, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:27 (thirteen years ago)

Is 'Invest In Africa' because Sunderland couldn't find a proper sponsor? I hope Burkina Faso isn't spending 20% of GDP on funding this.

Ismael Klata, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:29 (thirteen years ago)

pretty sure it's just to troll steve bruce for spending £13m on asamoah gyan

Nilmar Honorato da Silva, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:30 (thirteen years ago)

Africa's a pretty well-known brand already, you've got wonder how much value this deal adds

Ismael Klata, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:32 (thirteen years ago)

Could say the same about Asia I guess. And indeed Air.

Ismael Klata, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:34 (thirteen years ago)

Go Villa!

EZ Snappin, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:37 (thirteen years ago)

how many times will martin o'neill make eye contact in the postgame interview

Nilmar Honorato da Silva, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:40 (thirteen years ago)

Alright Ray?

Ismael Klata, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:41 (thirteen years ago)

'nother Honduran heading to England: http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/article/2012/11/26/sportings-espinoza-seems-set-winter-switch-wigan

Good player, though a tad card-prone.

dansplaining (dan m), Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:43 (thirteen years ago)

Also, is Wigan just the default club for Hondurans these days? Seems like they've had several.

dansplaining (dan m), Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:43 (thirteen years ago)

wigan seems to be the only club in england who bothers to do much scouting in south/ central america. tottenham had a honduran striker on trial a couple of years ago but he ended up somewhere in spain.

mizzell, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:50 (thirteen years ago)

tough to get work permits though isn't it?

Number None, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 21:56 (thirteen years ago)

idk those tarts love an 'exceptional talent' plea
