Epl tv negotiating team must be high-fiving right now that they got their deals away before Rafa's return

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 25 November 2012 18:08 (thirteen years ago)

dawson gave dempsey the shiner in training apparently. avb must have asked him to do it in exchange for a start.

Lovely stat from that Mail piece:

Chelsea have spent approximately £86million since 2004 in compensation for managers — more than Everton’s entire net spend since the Premier League began.

Michael Jones, Sunday, 25 November 2012 22:00 (thirteen years ago)

Is that our Joey? Great picture.

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 25 November 2012 22:02 (thirteen years ago)

poor mario, booked for receiving a shoulder charge to the chin.

Shane Richie Junior (Merdeyeux), Sunday, 25 November 2012 22:59 (thirteen years ago)

r|t|c, Sunday, 25 November 2012 23:04 (thirteen years ago)

Oh, that was a fun set of highlights. Ramirez in full flight really is rather great, but also: where the hell has this version of Jason Puncheon come from? The front four were a whirlwind and he was right at the heart of it. If Nigel can keep him playing like this, things might get spectacular.

William Bloody Swygart, Sunday, 25 November 2012 23:05 (thirteen years ago)

Also, JH - how was Luke Shaw? Highlights suggest defence got a bit less shellacked than usual, but it does seem as though our improved form has rather coincided with the lad being introduced to the side.

William Bloody Swygart, Sunday, 25 November 2012 23:11 (thirteen years ago)

Joey O'Brien has the forehead of an evil, evil man.

William Bloody Swygart, Sunday, 25 November 2012 23:13 (thirteen years ago)

fucking hell that's one of the worst offside calls i've ever seen in the wigan game

r|t|c, Sunday, 25 November 2012 23:41 (thirteen years ago)

WBS, shaw was v composed against both swansea and newcastle, he doesn't have fox's dead ball skills but apart from that looks an upgrade in every way. the current back 4 look better each time they play together, altho tbf they haven't been up against much in the last few games. cork coming back has also helped a lot, and puncheon & lallana seem to be doing more tracking back as well. even gazza came good yesterday! now watch it all go wrong against norwich.

jabba hands, Monday, 26 November 2012 14:13 (thirteen years ago)

Going thru the latest IBWM update on the progress of the players they chose last year as the 100 best youngsters and lo and behold there's a Saint on there, Emmanuel Mayuka. Anyone seen him play?

pandemic, Monday, 26 November 2012 15:12 (thirteen years ago)

nope, he's only had a few sub apps so far. might have to wait till the ACN to get a proper look at him..

jabba hands, Monday, 26 November 2012 16:54 (thirteen years ago)

Matt DC, Monday, 26 November 2012 17:01 (thirteen years ago)

‏@Joey7Barton

In my defence, it is very difficult to do a press conference in Scouse for a room full of French journalists. The alternative is to speak...

...like a 'Allo Allo!' character which is choose. Its simply a case of you had to be there. #youstupidwomen!

I am christening this new language Bartonese... @piersmorgan

Mr Roger Quimbly ‏@RogerQuimbly
Does 'heinous' rhyme with 'penis' or 'anus'? To win a prize, send your one word answer to Piers Morgan. Good luck!

mizzell, Monday, 26 November 2012 19:08 (thirteen years ago)

That was all from Barton's feed, I think he was maybe mentioning Morgan for having a go at him. xp

Forget it at 15 million obviously Fergy is getting a bit old now so is a bit senile...Baines is the best player in his position in Europe...30 million no less!

baines is probably better as an epl fullback most of the time but he plays in a side where he is the most creative player

he's a fair way off cole at his best

‏@TheBig_Sam Anti-Semitism will NOT be tolerated at my club. If I said it at one LMA meeting, I've said it at 50 - the Holocaust was bang out of order.

@robshepherd5 Do u think that's funny ?

@TheBig_Sam you know what isn't funny? Me sending you all those colouring books when you were in prison, and you not even thanking me.

‏@robshepherd5 comprende : Fullbrook Dillion Houllier EL Tel Big Frank Taylor and THE brothers sorted that out sunshine . Munchos Grazias x

‏@TheBig_Sam I prayed for you, Robert, & you shut me out. Only God can judge you. And that judge who imprisoned you for biting a human man.
