BBC mbm making a thing of the two-goal comeback - Utd's seventh in epl history, more than any other club. I'm amazed it's so few tbqh, I feel like we get sledgehammered with these a couple of times a year at least.

made it to my first game of the season at st mary's today. we were good enough for 3 points but the clusterfuck that gifted swansea their equaliser was just embarrassing. ramirez looked class for the most part, barring the occasional moment of le tissian lackadasicality. luke shaw was pretty good at LB, or at least no worse than anyone else who's played there for us this year.
not quite prepared to give up on this season just yet, and i def don't want adkins to go, but it's going to be a long winter.

(I am pissed; met my Villa-supporting mate in a Highbury pub; foolishly overlooked the fact it would be rammed with Arsenal fans immediately post-their match v Fulham)

"fuck off you fucking cockney manc" was among the responses to my celebration of the first goal

xp to dmac, that last shout was stonewall but lallana gets v little joy from refs. our suarez, you might say. btw, gf's reaction to the swansea goal: "why are they so stupid?" i wish i knew.

Feels like Utd have regressed/reverted to the pre Carlos Queiroz era where they played too open in Europe or something. P good to watch if you can overlook the fact that they're Utd, which I can't.
Clownish penalty call by Dowd in Arsenal match.

ok i'm in
jesus christ avb out, how can you keep asking a prospect like caulker to play alongside this cunt gallas
― threat of the author (darraghmac), Sunday, 11 November 2012 14:14 (thirteen years ago)
Handball in the box, foul in the box, Adebayaor getting Zabaleta booked with a dive. That said, Spurs probably should have had a pen shortly before they scored
― Number None, Sunday, 11 November 2012 14:14 (thirteen years ago)
12 citeh fouls to our 3
― threat of the author (darraghmac), Sunday, 11 November 2012 14:15 (thirteen years ago)
crowd goin mental but i've seen three stupid city fouls in five mins
sky not mentioning spurs peno, gallas handball clear enough, thudd block looked giveable too
nice to get a few calls in manchester tbh
― threat of the author (darraghmac), Sunday, 11 November 2012 14:30 (thirteen years ago)
Aguero should have had kept playing after the handball anyway
― Number None, Sunday, 11 November 2012 14:37 (thirteen years ago)
feel like i've seen aguero score that goal a hundred times
― jabba hands, Sunday, 11 November 2012 14:55 (thirteen years ago)
dempsey is fuckin useless out there. he's doing nothing.
bale also, but especially dempsey.
― threat of the author (darraghmac), Sunday, 11 November 2012 14:57 (thirteen years ago)
you'd like to think we could play counter attack against a 352, with bale, lennon, walker in the team, but the movement and passing is just so bad out there
― threat of the author (darraghmac), Sunday, 11 November 2012 14:58 (thirteen years ago)
oof yaya sandro collide, sumatra vanishes
― threat of the author (darraghmac), Sunday, 11 November 2012 14:59 (thirteen years ago)
gettin killed down the left now, vertonghen not making great decisions either in positioning or in the tackle. bale might as well cover, he's not helping the attack at all
― threat of the author (darraghmac), Sunday, 11 November 2012 15:11 (thirteen years ago)
i'mma say it- thudd's passing magic has disappeared. not seen one killer ball or perfect weighted crossfield pass since his return
― threat of the author (darraghmac), Sunday, 11 November 2012 15:12 (thirteen years ago)
i's postulate a weightloss cause-and-effect but it's not changed the fucker's workrate
― threat of the author (darraghmac), Sunday, 11 November 2012 15:14 (thirteen years ago)
Wasn't it thudd's assist?
― Ismael Klata, Sunday, 11 November 2012 15:16 (thirteen years ago)
ah fuck sake lads that is so fuckin soft
how does a premier league defence get beaten by a dzeko run, that's not a good goal
― threat of the author (darraghmac), Sunday, 11 November 2012 15:18 (thirteen years ago)
linesman on the right making up for any failings of the ref to award soft home calls
― threat of the author (darraghmac), Sunday, 11 November 2012 15:19 (thirteen years ago)
a lob over the top from thirty yards out beats our centre halves all ends up. shite.
that'll be it. nothing on-the-ball today, set up really badly to make anything happen. off-the-ball was well organised, but vertonghen's lack of tracking and the cb's inability to deal with even rudimentary movement left city far too much joy.
could have been more.
― threat of the author (darraghmac), Sunday, 11 November 2012 15:26 (thirteen years ago)
On the one hand LFC could have used any extra goal threat we could get this season, on the other going by this season's performances alone I'm quite relieved we missed out on Gylfi and Clint.
― pandemic, Sunday, 11 November 2012 15:28 (thirteen years ago)
Not sure what will be more laughable, Carra dealing with the movement of Mata et al or Terry coping with Suarez.

Chelsea may have hoped the meeting with Liverpool at Stamford Bridge could have given them the chance to regain top spot in the Premier League when Manchester United trailed 2-0 at Aston Villa - but their dramatic win leaves Roberto di Matteo's side with the task of closing a four-point gap.
I'm looking forward to this, I reckon we'll do them.
― Ismael Klata, Sunday, 11 November 2012 15:35 (thirteen years ago)
Eh what, Carra's playing? Also, this is the one game where I really wish we had Carroll.
― Ismael Klata, Sunday, 11 November 2012 15:36 (thirteen years ago)

Big game player though, you can't expect him to perform against last year's fifth-placed outfit.
